FGGAM is pleased to announce that Pastor Chuck Aragon of God’s Warehouse (Albuquerque) is sponsoring “Christmas On The Street” – presented by Fields of Rhema.  Fields of Rhema is a ministry led by Rachel and Tim Buckler of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This event will happen at God’s Warehouse, 8011 Central Avenue NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 3:00 PM.  There will be a Christmas tree lighting, food for all (free for unsheltered friends), on-site social workers and substance abuse counseling, a teen challenge ministries booth, a choir performance, and live Christmas music performed by Fields of Rhema!

And, “rumor” has it that this writer may even be there to play some drums.  I hope to see you there!

God bless the work of God’s Warehouse and Fields of Rhema!  These ministries are faithful in being the hands and feet of Christ here in Albuquerque.  They are a blessing to all of the unsheltered and hurting on the streets of Albuquerque.

God’s word says that when we bless others, we are doing His will.  What we do to help those in need is the same as serving Jesus:

Matthew 25:32-40 (NKJV)
“All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.  And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.  Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘[c]ome, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:  for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’  Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?  When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?  Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’  And the King will answer and say to them, ‘[a]ssuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me [emphasis mine].’”

We celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We serve because God is love, and we are to serve and love others, just as Jesus came to the earth to serve, to save and to demonstrate His love for us all:

Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV)
“For unto us a Child is born, [u]nto us a Son is given; [a]nd the government will be upon His shoulder.  And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Praise Jesus forevermore!
