Based on the analysis of 42 metrics organized into 3 key indicators of educational success — Student Success, School Quality, and Student Safety – the 2022 School Rankings ranked New Mexico #47 in the nation in providing a good environment for a student to succeed in school and maintain a healthy physical & mental lifestyle.

New Mexico ranks #4 Worst School System in America
Report: 2 million students have left public schools
Approximately 2 million students have left public schools since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns led to mandated school closures and students being educated online, according to a recently released report.
Education Next, a nonpartisan research organization based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, announced the findings of a report last week that looked into current trends in education.
According to the report, around 2 million fewer students are enrolled in non-charter public schools since spring 2020, when the United States enacted pandemic lockdowns.
My heart breaks for our children that have to deal with a broken system. I have said for years the government needs to hand over the schools to the local school boards.

New Mexico education has been a mess ever since we moved here in 1995. The Dems and GOP pour money into the school system and get the same results year after year, always near the bottom in the rankings of Public Schools in America.
Back-to-school season is in full swing and students across the nation are returning to their classrooms. This year, school districts are running into a problem – a major shortage of teachers. The trend is forcing administrators to get creative to fill the gap.

The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.
