Let Love Reign Today, As We Remember…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Yesterday I wrote my post several times. I just kept hearing the words in my spirit; the day of remembrance. I changed that writing so many times. Even at church I heard the word remembrance spoken and something quickened within me.

This morning, I decided to dig a little deeper. Holocaust Remembrance Day Yom Hashoah 2024 begins at sundown on Sunday, May 5, and ends at nightfall on Monday, May 6. Yom Hashoah is the internationally recognized remembrance day for the 6 million Jews who were systematically slaughtered in the Shoah, or Holocaust.

We never want to forget what happened in the past and confront hatred, protect human dignity at all cost. It’s a little different message today on the 127th day of our best year yet, but an important one.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for another day to work in your kingdom. Father, tenderize our hearts today for all people. May hatred be far, far from our hearts, our cities and nations.

Father, we remember the Holocaust. We pray for the survivors today. We continue to pray for the peace of Israel.

Father, come and heal our land we pray. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Let love rein in our hearts today.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. (Colossians 3:15)
