In today’s Albuquerque Journal Randy Harrison, the Sports Editor, has an excellent tribute on Stu Walker who served for years as the PA Announcer for the Lobo’s and Isotopes. Harrison does such a great job of capturing the love that Stu had for New Mexico. I was blessed to work with him at Citadel radio in the mid-90’s. He always had a smile and a good word for New Mexico, the man knew his sports and politics! A Celebration of Life for Stu will be held this morning at 9am at Isotopes Park. You are invited.
