For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.

Hebrews 10:36

We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.

Proverbs 16:9

Left to our own devices, our lives would be ruined. Our hopes would be crushed.

We need Christ. Without his authority, We’d probably watch whatever we wanted, we’d eat whatever we wanted even to the point of gluttony and we’d do whatever we wanted, with no regards to the Holy Spirit or what Christ has done on our behalf.

Whatever our little heart desired, that’s what we would do.

But we need Christ to be our center, our Focus.

Remember, everything is permissible not everything is beneficial. In fact, we would destroy ourselves at the first opportunity.

This is why I believe we have hurts, hardships, needs and wants. So we learn to trust God, obey him and wait on him, even in the darkest of times. Things of this world are temporary.

And although I believe Christ wants us to be blessed and to have an abundant life, we must remember that He has to come first. We must go to him first and wait for him.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways

and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Isaiah 55:8-9

His ways are higher than our ways, and His actions often do not make sense to our earth-bound minds. But rest assured, there’s a reason He doesn’t leave us in charge.

Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!

1 Chronicles 16:11

“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Psalm 46:10

Commit your work to the LORD,

and your plans will be established.

Proverbs 16:3

The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD.

Proverbs 16:33

“God is All-knowing. There are many things you don’t know, which God knows. As a child of God, allow God to lead you and give you the right strategies for success in life. Depend on Him. Your brain alone is too small to run your life!”  -(T.O Banso. Wisdom for living)

When we allow our hearts to soften toward the things of God and submit to His plans, we become humble to his ways and allow him to lead!

And He’ll never steer us wrong.

Many Blessing’s

Connie
