- Last year, the event was Baptize SoCal – where 4,199 were baptized by over 200 churches at Pirates Cove, California;
- This year, the event will be Baptize California. Statewide as of May 15, 2024, almost 10,000 have signed up to get baptized;
- Next year, the event will be Baptize America on June 8, 2025; and
- In 2026, the event will be Baptize World.
Baptize California Prepares for Statewide Water Baptism Event – Aims for Largest Synchronized Baptism in History
Hundreds of churches will partner with Baptize California to host baptisms across the state, the largest of which will be held at the beach in Huntington Beach, California – south of the pier.

What: Plans for the largest synchronized water baptism in history at its 2024 event.
When: Sunday, May 19th, 2024 – 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Where: Various Churches throughout California participating.
The main event in Huntington Beach, south of the pier, will be on May 18 and 19, 2024.
Building on the incredible success of last year’s Baptize SoCal, we are excited to present Baptize California – the largest synchronized water baptism in history, scheduled for May 19, 2024.
Last year, over 4,100 individuals were baptized, a testament to the power of faith. This year, we are uniting churches across California for this monumental event.

On Saturday, May 18th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, national and local bands will be performing, such as Bethel Music, Martin Smith, Bryan & Katie Torwalt, SEU Worship, Alexander Pappas, Bodie (from The Voice, Season 22), Circuit Riders, Ryan Ellis, Cecily, Sean Feucht and more.
On both days, the flagship event for Baptize California will be held at 3:00 PM at Huntington State Beach, south of the pier.
