My heart breaks at all the violence breaking our across America and the world. We are witnessing a surge in hate crimes against Jews and Muslims all over the world. I wonder how many Pastors will address this hate in their sermons today. I mourn for the Jewish people the Palestinians.

Got Questions states: Christians should definitely support the nation of Israel. We must remember that Israel, the nation, is very special to God. We read in Deuteronomy 7:6-8 these words: “For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. The LORD did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. More importantly, all human beings are equally created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27). God loved the world so much that He sent Jesus to lay down His life for us (John 3:16). The “world” obviously includes all ethnic groups. More Here

Is Hamas in the Bible?

Pastor Don Kimbro: “Hamas,” the Arabic terrorist group acronym moniker of Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya (“Islamic Resistance Movement”), is also a chilling homophone in the Bible: violence. Genesis 6:11 says, “Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence [Hamas: lit. חָמָס(ḥāmās)].” The Hebrew word “Hamas” is a noun meaning an act of aggression, but especially involving physical contact. Hamas was founded in 1987; however, the biblical word “Hamas” or “violence” reaches back to the earliest chapters of Genesis and is one of the significant reasons for the flood. More Here
