I just talked to the meat manager at our supermarket, and he and his wife were celebrating their honeymoon in Maui when the fires struck. He told it was was so surreal. They had fire all around them. They had to leave their belongings in the hotel, that ended up burning down. Thank the Lord they caught the last flight out of Maui!

Let us pray for all the families that have missing loved ones and for all the families that have had loved ones die in the fire.

Hawaii Gov. Josh Green estimates at least 1,000 people remain unaccounted for in Maui amid the ongoing wildfires. The current death toll is 114. “We do have extreme concerns that because of the temperature of the fire, the remains of those who have died, in some cases, may be impossible to recover meaningfully,” Green told CBS News’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday. Full Story.
