In my Fathers house are many mansions and I’m going to prepare a place for you

3 John 14:1-2

We spend so much time looking for a place to live or even just to vacation. But how much time do we really spend preparing our hearts for the place we’ll be spending eternity?

One day God will gather up everyone who’s put their faith in him. Everyone from all four corners of the earth, and they will live together with him in heaven.

Hebrews 9:27 says; it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.

John 5:24 also says; those who believe in Jesus have eternal or everlasting life.

“This was his purpose: that when the time is ripe he will gather us all together . . . to be with him in Christ forever”

Ephesians 1:10

Every single person is going to live forever in one of two places, either in heaven with God or separated from him for all eternity.

God has “set eternity in the human heart”

Ecclesiastes 3:11

This life as we know it, will not last forever. We and this world will pass. And there is going to come a time when you and I, as followers of Jesus, will be coming home, because we are not home yet.

The final homecoming outweighs any earthly benefit!

The Apostle Paul said, “I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far”

Philippians 1:23

We all know that death is inevitable, we know its just a matter of time before God calls us home. We do not know the day, time, or circumstances under which this event will occur, but we know that day is coming.

It won’t matter what your financial status, religious status, corporate status or academic status is, we’re all destined to leave this earth.

The good news is, if you know Christ, you’ll be ushered right into His presence .

“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”

2 Corinthians 5:8

Knowledge is key here. It would greatly benefit us to know the King that we’re going to be spending eternity with.

“Those who know their God will stand firm and take action”

Daniel 11:32

My people perish for lack of knowledge.

Hosea 4:6

We should check our heart, repent, change and submit to God.

We cannot hold onto what is temporary and look towards eternity at the same time because earthly treasures pull us back.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:21

Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

James 4:14

It’s not enough to casually know Him, we must get to know God, and know him well, that would be beneficial to us

Because life is short and eternity is forever, without end.

Many Blessings,

Connie
