Paul admonishes the church, “Therefore watch.” The word in this passage is an Imperative Command (an order) and it’s in the Present Tense (continuous action). Literally it means to do something and keep it up! It may seem to be a strange way to warn someone of danger but when we see someone about to be hit or fall or slip, or come into some kind of danger, don’t we shout, “Watch out!” That’s the meaning here. Keep shouting, “Watch out,” until the danger passes or is eliminated. Other forms of the word are translated, to arouse, to arise, or to refrain from sleep by staying awake. “Shake sleep” would also be a good rendering.

How many times have I said this? Albuquerque is going to hell. It is not a safe city. Crime has no zip code. The city is fill of thugs and violence. Police are doing all they can. You better be thankful that anyone would want to be a police officer in Albuquerque. What if you and I were in the grocery store yesterday? What of innocent people were killed inside that store? Be aware of your surrounding more than ever folks. We are seeing the destruction of America right before our eyes. This is what happens when a country leaves God and becomes lawless. This is a Biblical issue! Just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview. So many babies are not safe here! They are killed through abortion! Hearts need to be changed for JESUS!

You ask what is a Biblical Worldview? From Barna research: For the purposes of the research, a biblical worldview was defined as believing that absolute moral truths exist; that such truth is defined by the Bible; and firm belief in six specific religious views. Those views were that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life; God is the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe and He stills rules it today; salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned; Satan is real; a Christian has a responsibility to share their faith in Christ with other people; and the Bible is accurate in all of its teachings.

America is killing God’s children through abortions, gun violence, drugs, and in so many other evil ways. It has created an America that is so very depressing for many that they commit suicide or go out and kill people.

I will never understand why the larger Churches in this city will not take to the streets on a Sunday and carry out The Great Commission on the streets of Deadwood, I mean Albuquerque. WHY NOT EVERY CHURCH!!?? Why have your services inside walls? Jesus knows no walls. I was taught by my parents to take responsibility for my country.

We are losing souls to Satan everyday in Albuquerque and all over America. We all will have to answer to JESUS!

“People die every day without Christ, and we’ve got the answer. … Don’t just talk about evangelism. Do it.”
–Dr. Stephen McQuoid

What is the Great Commission?

In my lifetime, the greatest failure of the American Church is failing to carry out The Great Commission.

Albuquerque police say a call about a person asleep in an SUV on Saturday afternoon ended with officers killing a man inside a bustling supermarket off West Central. Read more

Why so much EVIL?

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18.

The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” Rev. 21:8

“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ Matthew 5:21

You shall not murder. Exodus 20:13
