Providence or Destiny?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I believe God orders our footsteps. The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him. (Psalm 37:23) I believe in providence. Yesterday as I waited my turn to speak before the judiciary committee on an issue here in Maine, I listened intently for my name to be called. I heard the name Bernice, and this precious elderly woman took the stand. My name followed hers and I must say I stood behind that podium amazed. I thought to myself, what are the chances of this? My mother’s name was Bernice and she died when I was eight. I know God wanted me to know that my mother is part of the cloud of witnesses cheering me on as I gave testimony yesterday regarding choosing life.

I also believe in destiny, and we all have one. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

I am thankful for a lot of things this morning, but I can say that I am thankful that we can walk with a God that knows our name, the number of hairs on our head and the way we should take.

Let’ Pray:

Father, thank you for an awakening in our nation. Father, thank you for an awakening across this globe. We join faith today and thank you that you are lighting fires of revival.

Father, thank you that you are over the government. Thank you that you have a providential plan for every life. God continue to order our footsteps. A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps. (Proverbs 16:9)

Father, thank you for healing your people. The journey called life has been difficult at times. We were wounded, made poor choices, didn’t follow your instructions for daily living and the results were devastating. Thank you that your blood that was shed on Calvary was enough. Thank you for your Word in Psalm 107:20 that says you sent your word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. To God be the glory. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people, believe God has a plan designed just for you.

Choose life, love life, enjoy life, laugh often in life and believe in eternal life.
