“I will raise up Cyrus to fulfill my righteous purpose, and I will guide his actions. He will restore my city and free my captive people – and not for a reward! I, the LORD Almighty, have spoken!” Isaiah 45:13

Cyrus, the Medo-Persian King overthrew Babylon, and restored and freed the Jews. It was in his heart to do this because of his love for the Lord. Isn’t that how it should be beloved?

We teach our kids that if they do something, big or small, they’ll get a reward. Let Jesus be the reward. Let the freedom of others be the reward, and let all be done with the love of our dear Savior, Jesus. Jesus loves. He is love and He loves the believers, the seekers, and those who have not asked for Him.

Now among those who went up to worship at the feast were some Greeks. So these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.” John 10:20-21

Isn’t that the cry of all hearts? That’s why we try to fill Jesus’ place in our hearts with everything but Him. Sometimes, we don’t know that it is Him we are looking for. I’ve heard instances of Jesus showing Himself in dreams and visions. I love the following Scriptures: Isaiah 65:1 and Romans 10:20.

I am desired by those who have not asked for me, and I was found by those who did not seek for me. I have said, “Here I am, here I am!”, to the people who did not call my name.

And Isaiah boldly says, “I was found by those who did not seek Me; I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me.”

That’s why, beloved, it is so vital that we drop the flesh and its attitudes and allow Holy Spirit to teach, flow, and minister to us and through us to others.

He loves and tries in many ways to come to us because He wants to be one with us. Won’t you be one that allows Him to flow from you to the hurting and the seeking, and even those that aren’t seeking? He wants you to bring Him to others! Like Cyrus, He wants to raise you up to fulfill His righteous purpose, and He wants to guide your actions. He wants to restore and set others free through you by His complete love! The beauty of this is He lets you choose.

And everything that you perform in word and in works, do in the name of our Lord Yeshua The Messiah and give thanks by him to God The Father. Colossians 3:17

Stuck in the flesh or flowing in His love…you choose. Hallelujah amen!
