Proverbs 10:4 says, “Idle hands make one poor, but diligent hands bring riches.” God has designed us to work. When he placed Adam and Eve in the garden, he told them to cultivate the earth and multiply.

FGGAM will be 11 years young in August, Lord willing. When God moved me out of KKIM Christian radio and formed FGGAM, He spoke to me that we were never to be in debt. Vice-Chair, Pastor Bill Ruhl established that with me at the start also. We have no debt, never have, we always paying our bills on time. We are so very, very grateful to God and our supporters. I fit the description of someone who is very tight with money, we used to say back in the day, he is so tight he squeaks! LOL! FGGAM is a bare bones ministry, God drives us, not money, or fancy dancy. America is drowning in red ink, the government and so many citizens. One day it will all come to an end, sooner than later. The enemy has always been within. Those fools in the White House and in Congress, both parties, are just a plain mess. For years, they just kick the can down the road, now they are at the cliff! From THE HILL:

America’s credit card balance has passed $1 trillion, or it’s about to, depending on whom you ask.

The average interest rate on a new card is 24 percent, the highest figure since the Reaganomics era. Story Here

Got Questions states: Many people have found that they cannot trust themselves with credit cards. They tend to view them as “free money” since the actual bill does not come for weeks, and even then only a minimum payment is required. They can have a $2,000 boat today and only pay for it a few hundred dollars at a time over several months. What they don’t want to think about is that the $2,000 new boat becomes a $4,000 used boat by the time they finally have it paid off, at the minimum payment each month More Here

PS: Do you give to your Church? If you do not give to a Church, do you give to your favorite ministry? What do you do with God’s money? Self indulge?

What does the Bible say about managing your finances?

CNN REPORTS:

The House of Representatives is on track to vote today on a bill to suspend the nation’s debt limit through January 1, 2025. The bill already cleared a key hurdle Tuesday evening when the powerful House Rules Committee voted 7-6 to advance it to the floor. That’s a win for House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who was tasked with convincing members of the committee to vote in favor even though some fellow Republicans don’t approve of the bill and have vowed to sink it in the chamber. Still, it appears a wide range of House members on both sides of the aisle are poised to support the deal. The Congressional Budget Office estimates the bill would reduce budget deficits by $1.5 trillion over the next 10 years, and reduce discretionary spending by a projected $1.3 trillion from 2024 to 2033.
