The Hill is reporting that on Friday, October 14, 2022, beloved orchestra conductor, Yuri Kerpatenko, was shot and killed in his own home by the Russian military. Kerpatenko, who conducts the Gileya Chamber Orchestra, refused a Russian invitation to perform a concert with the orchestra to demonstrate the so-called “improvement of peaceful life” in Kherson. As if any more evidence was necessary, this represents the continuing nature of Russia’s war on Ukraine and the evil that is Vladimir Putin. There should be no Russian music groups touring in the US right now. Let’s continue to seek the Lord’s intervention and pray for the evil sustaining this war to be bound up and removed, and replaced with the wisdom of God, in the name of Jesus!
