Photo is of Alec Baldwin from the Santa Fe County Sheriffs Office.

I have wondered about this case and when charges would be filed. People or someone, must be held accountable for the killing of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the ‘Rust’ movie set in Santa Fe County in New Mexico. I cannot even imagine the agony of her family is going through. Prosecutors are asking the state for more than half a million dollars in funding. First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies asked for the money. I understand for sure, BUT! Who will pay the state back? Those who are held responsible for the killing need to pay the state back. I do not no if that is normal procedure in cases like this, but it needs to happen. I still wonder why the Sheriffs office released video from the scene months ago before any charges were filed. Why release the information, before charges are filed? KOB TV REPORTS: According to a document obtained by the Santa Fe New Mexican, the district attorney said if charges are warranted, her office plans to prosecute up to four people. She named actor and ‘Rust’ movie producer Alec Baldwin as one of the possible defendants. I am very confused on how this case has being handled. Sloppy comes to mind. Whatever happened to confidentiality?

State grants half of requested funding to DA for potential ‘Rust’ prosecutions

I pray that justice is served to the family of Halyna Hutchins. This is such a horrible tragedy for the family has suffered and it is bring dragged out. Will justice be served to this family? I am very, very concerned about the justice system in New Mexico. So many victims and their families never receive justice here in New Mexico. It seems the criminals have more rights than they victims, and there is not such thing as a speedy trial.
