I was reading about this today on the KELO Land TV website and also on the Minneapolis StarTribune site. As many of you know I am from Windom, Minnesota and worked radio for a bit in Watertown, South Dakota. I love the area, but it is changing like all of America and many churches are changing also, not always for the good however. We are such a very divided country, it is destroying us. What will we look like in 6 months? This is a very disturbing turn of events for this country church and community. JESUS needs to be at the center of all we do in our churches, homes, and communities. One former parishioner started, “We’re living in a politically divided world where there’s a sense of moral superiority on both sides — on all sides.”

Is there any peace to be found in America?

BROOKINGS COUNTY, S.D. (KELO) — For Norwegian settlers along the South Dakota/Minnesota border, it was the center of society. But now, a little country church has become the center of controversy.

Nearly 150 years ago the first Norwegian pastor in the U.S. formed the Singsaas church, named after the settlers’ village in Norway.
