Is Free College and Legalized Pot Enough to Get NM Governor Lujan Grisham Reelected?

From Pastor Victor Tafoya at FGGAM: Let’s take God’s Word to the marketplace of ideas, and invade education, business, entertainment, politics. Paul certainly didn’t sit on his hands while people were dying and going to Hell… It reminds me of DL Moody… One day he was walking the street. A man was moving in the opposite direction when Moody asked him, “Are you a Christian?” The ole grump snarled, “Mind your own business!” Moody answered, “Sir, this is my business.” And it’s our business too! We should never get used to hearing the sound of footsteps marching off to hell.

To be clear….I am for medical marijuana…I have friends that it really helps. I am not for the smoking of pot.

It breaks my heart that many in New Mexico are going to make money off of pot. The state has so many dreadful problems I have lost count. New Mexico Is 3rd Most Stressed State, 1st in Unemployment, 2nd in Crime Rate per Capita, 2nd in Divorce Rate, 3rd in % of Population Living in Poverty Making money off recreational pot is evil. Making money selling a drug that can harm people!!!! That is awful. How Pot Affects Your Mind and Body I have seen reports that pot will sell out fast here in New Mexico. Folks are so hungry for it and I guess and there are not enough pot plants. The majority in this state do not value life, if New Mexico did, it would end abortion. It is a baby killer state. I facilitated 22,000 abortions but God forgave me Now this legalized pot is going to add to the fuel to the anti-life establishment in New Mexico. Now remember, the majority of people in the state vote for anti-life politicians, home delivery of booze is now legal, Booze kills, it is not good for your health, drunk driving kills innocent victims. Alcohol’s Effects on the Body New Mexico loves to feed addictions.  Sometimes I feel like the lone wolf on these issues that greatly affect the family unit. Booze and pot is a very dangerous thing to have in your home. It has nothing to do with God. Your very selfish if you participate in these things, you are pushing God out of your life. You want to get HIGH? Get HIGH on GOD, He gave you your life. I do not hear many Christians speaking out against this evil of legalized pot, even the GOP candidates for governor!!! Have you heard anything from them on this issue? Let me know! Pot heads will drive and kill. I am not popular in this state, I go against the grain, I am not political, I go with God.

Look what the two party system has brought us….DIVISON and EVIL behavior, The Dems are the worst and the GOP has plenty of evil and crazy people in their party. God is not in American politics. The Dems and GOP are showing our children such ugly, ugly behavior!

This appeared on my twitter feed yesterday from former TV/Radio personality Cory Hepola who is running for governor of Minnesota:  Our teens know that political divisiveness is a threat to the future of our society. It’s time to act like adults. Active listening and compromise can inspire change. Siloed thinking cannot.

We have more than a handful of solid folks in office in New Mexico, like every state, but they are the minority.

Will legalized pot bring New Mexico Governor Lujan Grisham a victory this fall? A Humble Leader Is an Effective Leader: Here’s Why So many New Mexicans are thrilled with pot and free college, New Mexico’s governor just signed a bill to make college tuition-free

Add home delivery of booze to that list, and the list goes on….The Dems rule in New Mexico, will that continue?

Don’t forget abortions in New Mexico. We are a Baby Killer state.

When I was manager/newsman at KKIM Christian Radio we always fought abortion, same-sex marriage, drunk driving, and legalized pot sales. We stood strong, our listeners call the Roundhouse and made a huge difference. Ten years ago this August God formed FGGAM to continue the fight against evil. We are losing are fight, as the majority of New Mexico is antilife, non-Christian. Only 6% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview. Remember the eye of the needle? Social Science Researcher George Barna states, Although 7 out of 10 Americans Say They Are Christians, Just 6% Actually Possess a Biblical Worldview.

Here is a portion of a report by Dr. Joe Fawcett that he shared with us back in 2014:

Effects on General Physical Health
Within a few minutes after inhaling marijuana smoke, an individual’s heart rate speeds up, the bronchial passages relax and become enlarged, and blood vessels in the eyes expand, making the eyes look red. The heart rate – normally 70 to 80 beats per minute – may increase by 20 to 50 beats per minute, or may even double in some cases. Taking other drugs with marijuana can amplify this effect which can cause a deadly situation.

A person’s risk of heart attack during the first hour after smoking marijuana is four times his or her usual risk. This observation could be partly explained by marijuana raising blood pressure (in some cases) and heart rate and reducing the blood’s capacity to carry oxygen.

The smoke of marijuana, like that of tobacco, consists of a toxic mixture of gases and particulates, many of which are known to be extremely harmful to the lungs. Someone who smokes marijuana regularly will have many of the same respiratory problems that tobacco smokers do, such as daily cough and phlegm production, more frequent acute chest illnesses, and a greater risk of lung infections. Even infrequent marijuana use will cause burning and stinging of the mouth and throat, often accompanied by a heavy cough. Extra sick days used by frequent marijuana smokers were often because of respiratory illnesses.

Babies born to women who used marijuana during their pregnancies display altered responses to visual stimuli, increased tremulousness, and a high-pitched cry, which could indicate problems with neurological development. In school, marijuana-exposed children are more likely to show gaps in problem solving skills, memory, and the ability to remain attentive.
