FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday:

“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”

This certainly is a very ugly, ugly report card for New Mexico….an F.

The following report is by WalletHub, I also included the bad news New Mexico got last week, being first in the nation in unemployment. New Mexico, at the moment does not have much going for it. The Governor now is hyping up her so called victory, legalized pot. New Mexico is bracing for the April 1 start of state-regulated retail marijuana. New Mexico joins 17 other states that have legalized recreation marijuana without significant legal challenges. Follow the money on this deal, dig deep. The Governor is running away from her failures. Pot will cause bad accidents, bad health, etc…. YOU CANNOT TELL ME POT HEADS WILL MAKE NEW MEXICO A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE!!! SHAME!!! The GOP better get going on their messaging! They are the minority party in the state, the governors seat is there for the taking, BUT can they break the chains of the Democratic party in New Mexico? New Mexico seems to love being in last place in anything good. The voters keep electing anti-life politicians. Also remember that New Mexico kills God’s babies through abortion, child murders, child abuse………The children of New Mexico face so many bad things, we all have let them down, many never get a chance, they are killed through abortion. Does that not bother you? God may just ask you about that! Are you not a bit ashamed you live in a baby killer state? Look what Texas has done! They fight for God’s babies and win!

I DO NOT HEAR ANY GOP CANDIDATE DENOUNCING LEALIZED POT SALES AND THAT THEY WILL FIGHT LIKE MAD TO OVERTURN THAT LAW!

I certainly am not a popular man in this state. BUT I WILL STAND FOR GOD AND HIS BABIES AND CHILDREN!!!!!!!!! WE GO BY THE BIBLE NOT A POLITICAL PLAYBOOK!

New Mexico, God gave us with a beautiful state, but we are destroying it bit by bit. We have been awful stewards of God’s blessings. We even kill His babies. We must repent and Bless God.

The GOP, like much of the Church, loves to tell their story to the choir. The GOP will only win if it wins over Independents and Dems. The GOP is so very silent. in my travels in the state, and even in the metro, many are unable to name anyone running for governor, except Lujan Grisham, beleive it or not. The GOP better step out of their comfort zone. I beleive that many of the common folk in this state, like me and Sharon, have had it with both parties. None of the candidate are making a solid case to the people of New Mexico. The people of this state want a LAW AND ORDER CANDIDATE!!! None of the GOP candidates are making their case on this issue!!!  It would be horrible if someone cannot unseat the present governor.

I have said this many times, The GOP suffers from leadership at the top. If the GOP loses the governors seat in the upcoming election, it will be one of the greatest political disasters of my lifetime.

New Mexico’s unemployment rate highest in the nation

What tips do you have for fighting stress without spending money?

“Fighting stress is an individual process so I think the first thing to do is identify what is the cause or source of your stress, what helps reduce stress for you at that moment and more generally…and what resources do you have at your disposal to deal with the stress. It is really person-to-person that reduces stress (for instance, I am not a yoga person) but there are a lot of low- or no-cost stress reducers, such as being outside in nature, practicing along with a YouTube yoga video, calling a friend, or family member. If you have insurance that does not have a lot of additional out-of-pocket expenses (e.g., copays), then therapy is a great option. If that is not an option, there are local and national mental health hotlines that can offer support (for instance, 1-800-273-8255 is the national suicidal prevention hotline and local social service departments may be able to help identify mental health service providers that operate at a free or reduced cost).”

“Identify the situations, people, places, encounters, etc. that cause you to feel stress. Because these are the events that set the wheels of stress in motion, being aware of them will help you manage them. Make a list of the most common stressors in your life then review each one; can you change it or avoid it? Have trouble with office politics? Stay out of it. Worried about the state of global affairs and spending time doom scrolling? Delete apps and limit time with technology. Changing or avoiding stressors is a feasible approach for some situations, but it will only get you so far. What if you cannot change the situation? What if you cannot avoid the stressor? Although some stressors are beyond your control, your thoughts and beliefs about them are within your control. An effective, and free, approach to stress management is learning to recognize and change the sorts of thinking patterns that intensify your emotions and lead to poor coping.”

Should insurance companies cover treatments that help reduce stress?

“Absolutely and this would be the best money ever spent as this would reduce acute health care costs associated with stress manifestation physically! Mindfulness, yoga, stress reduction classes, massage acupuncture, all these things should be covered. This is an utter no-brainer. This would be so much better for our country and enlarge health and wellness programming for all, not just those who can afford it.”
Maryanna D. Klatt, Ph.D. – Director of Integrative Health; Professor-Clinical, The Ohio State University College of Medicine

“Given the well-documented negative physical and mental health outcomes, as well as the negative occupational outcomes (decreased productivity, increased absenteeism), it seems that it would be advantageous for insurance companies to cover treatments that reduce stress.”

What can people do to address the financial stress caused by the pandemic?

“First, I want to acknowledge that the range of financial stress is huge right now and some people are really hurting. I would…encourage doing a lot of research about COVID19 financial relief opportunities. It is an active and ongoing situation, and there have been several federal, state, and local government financial assistance opportunities but it takes a lot of knowledge and awareness of what is out there – not an easy task when you are under duress. So, I recommend finding a starting point, asking for help, and doing what you can to maintain your focus on the financial tasks that arise from the process so you do not get overwhelmed in the process – that would certainly be the opposite of what we are going for.”
