Right now I have no words for this type of evil action. I weep for God’s babies.
Governor Signs Abortion Bill, Republican Senators Respond
SANTA FE – Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham today signed legislation to repeal New Mexico’s abortion law. Senate Bill 10, sponsored by Democratic Senator Linda Lopez (District 11-Bernalillo) and others, repealed an entire section of law that among other things protected medical professionals from being forced to participate in abortions and required that abortions be performed by licensed physicians.
Senate Republicans responded to the Governor’s action with the following statements:
“Though the Governor and pro-abortion activists will claim this as a victory for women, the only victor in this bill is the multi-million dollar abortion industry,” said Senator Crystal Diamond (District 35-Dona Ana, Hidalgo, Luna, and Sierra). “With the stroke of her pen, the Governor has weakened standards of care for women, stripped conscience protections for medical professionals, and given the abortion industry unchecked power to operate under the radar in our state. New Mexico women and children deserve better.”
“This is a sad day for New Mexico,” added Senator Gregg Schmedes (District 19-Bernalillo, Sandoval, Santa Fe, and Torrance). “Pro-abortion activists have not been shy about their disregard for unborn children’s lives. Their actions during this Legislative Session, however, exposed their deeper motivations – forcing doctors and nurses to perform abortions and enshrining legal abortion up to the moment of birth in New Mexico. The Governor calls this ‘equal justice.’ However, there is nothing ‘equal’ or ‘just’ about exploiting women for profit and terminating the lives of the most innocent and vulnerable among us.”
Planned Parenthood performed a record 354,871 abortions in 2019-2020 and received a record $618.1 million in government funding in 2019-2020. This occurred despite the fact that the organization is no longer participating in Title X and in a year when the U.S. implemented widespread lockdowns.
“Planned Parenthood’s business is abortion, not health care,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the pro-life non-profit, Susan B. Anthony List. Responding to Planned Parenthood’s 2019-2020 Annual Report, Dannenfelser said. “At a time when U.S. abortions overall have long been on the decline, Planned Parenthood is ending the lives of more than 354,000 unborn children a year. With Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the White House, we can expect this alarming trend to continue.”

HORRIBLE STEWARDSHIP!!!! How about all those that are struggling in New Mexico for food?????? The same for Ted Cruz of Texas! Leaving the state while people in Texas DIED! FROZEN TO DEATH! And he goes to Mexico???!!! Insensitive! Mean! I used to support Cruz but he has turned mean! The politicians in D.C. and Governors need to take a pay cut as the common American is suffering! SHOW US YOU CARE ABOUT US!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now is the time for all good men and women to serve their country, not themselves! We need to take care of those in need! Many of these politicians just add to their own kingdom, their lifestyle of the rich and famous!
The words spoken by politicians and many others in America are not worth much at all, it is the action, the works, the fruit that comes from our work that blesses God’s people. I see not much fruit at all from the Democrats and Republicans.
So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:2
New Mexicans are not happy after Michelle Lujan Grisham spent more than $13K of taxpayer money on things like wagyu beef, tuna steaks, and booze over 6 months while thousands of hardworking people are struggling to put food on the table.
The latest: The Albuquerque Journal who reprimanded Grisham for being “arrogant and out of touch.”

Albuquerque Journal: Governor’s gourmet orders insensitive in deadly pandemic
February 26, 2021
But as tens of thousands of New Mexicans were denied not only holiday get-togethers but funerals, as they struggled to sign up for unemployment, their tax dollars were being used for tuna steaks, Wagyu beef, liquor and dry cleaning. A governor’s spokesman says some of the $6,500-plus grocery bill fed the governor’s Cabinet and staff at long meetings during the second half of 2020.
And that begs the question, instead of purchasing high-end gourmet food, why not feed those attendees by supporting our struggling local restaurants that had curbside service?
According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, one of the receipts showed the Governor’s Office spent more than $200 during one trip in September to Sam’s Club, buying at least five bottles of tequila, two bottles of vodka, two bottles of merlot, a bottle of whiskey and a bottle of gin. Spokesman Tripp Stelnicki said the liquor was bought by a staffer for a holiday party that never took place and so it was never opened.
September seems awfully early to be buying beverages for a Thanksgiving or Christmas party.
But ordering gourmet grub and gallons of booze while tens of thousands of New Mexicans were unemployed was simply arrogant and out of touch. Doing it with tax funds while the state’s unemployment coffers were emptied was just plain wrong.
Over the past 11 months, the governor has held lengthy news conferences on a regular basis to provide updates, urge New Mexicans to follow safety protocols and thank them for making sacrifices as we all battle this deadly enemy. She often says “we are all in this together.”
But that’s a hard message to sell when she is enjoying taxpayer-purchased Japanese beef and classic Canadian whisky while many New Mexicans are just trying to keep their families fed.

This is insult to injury…………
My goodness…..where is common sense???? The Governor has not practiced common courtesy to the people of New Mexico who are suffering so very much! This is really a slap in the face to all New Mexicans. Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham enjoys fancy dancy while many go hungry in the state!!!??? In this state where we abort babies, where children go hungry…..where many have lost their businesses, lost their jobs???!!!! Where children cannot socialize???!!! Can’t go to school!!!??? This is like New Mexico is ruled by a Queen instead of a Governor, most of us are peasants I guess.
I am sorry for my strong feelings but I care for all, I care for the babies that get aborted, I care for the children in New Mexico who only get one meal a day, I care about all the homeless people in New Mexico….I cannot and will not accept the behavior of our Governor!
Governor, please apologize to the people of New Mexico and stop all the booze! Why all the booze? Reminds me of all the booze at former Governor Susana Martinez’s ‘world famous party.’
Do You Have on Your ‘God Filter’? Or Your Republican or Democrat Filter? QAnon? Conspiracy Theories? ?
Words of Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) President Russell Moore:
The sight of “Jesus Saves” and “God Bless America” signs by those violently storming the Capitol is about more than just inconsistency. It is about a picture of Jesus Christ and of his gospel that is satanic. The mixing of the Christian religion with crazed and counter-biblical cults such as Q-Anon is telling the outside world that this is what the gospel is. That’s a lie, and it is blasphemous against a holy God.
According to a new study by Lifeway Research, 49 percent of Protestant pastors in the US say they frequently hear members of their congregation repeat conspiracy theories. Today, we will examine one such theory, then we will use it as a case study to emphasize the urgency of reason for our culture and our faith.
Devotees of the QAnon conspiracy theory have been arrested for murder, kidnapping, terrorism, vandalizing churches, derailing a train, and threatening public officials. Protesters claiming that coronavirus is not real and that vaccines are dangerous recently shut down a mass vaccination site at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
More than 500 pastors and ministry leaders of diverse theological backgrounds have signed an open letter condemning Christian nationalism. The letter directly links Christian nationalism to the riots that occurred at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 and calls the ideology a “perversion of the Christian faith.”
“As leaders in the broad evangelical community, we recognize and condemn the role Christian Nationalism played in the violent, racist, anti-American insurrection at the United States Capitol on January 6,” says the letter. “We recognize the damage done by radicalized Christian Nationalism in the world, the church, and in the lives of individuals and communities.”
I have become dear friends with Scott and LaDonna Loss. They are from Albuquerque and they are on fire for JESUS! They are pictured at the very top of this post. Yesterday I posted much on the cult QAnon, I took some heat as usual. I do not argue with people on Facebook or messenger, or by text and email. I do not engage with foolish behavior. The Bible tells us that we should not engage with fools. Proverbs 23:9 Don’t waste your breath on fools, for they will despise the wisest advice.
