Is Your Strength Gone? By Karen Rowe

Dear Friends,
Is your strength gone? How can you talk to God when your strength is gone? Truly through Christ who gives you strength.
Making it real; when you know your strength is gone, and experience “Master, speak, since you have given me strength, …. Friends, when we receive this, we will never be the same!
“Master, how can I, your servant, talk with you? My strength is gone, and it is hard for me to breathe.” The one who looked like a man touched me again and gave me strength. He said, “Daniel, don’t be afraid. God loves you very much. Peace be with you. Be strong now; be courageous.” When he spoke to me, I became stronger and said, “Master, speak, since you have given me strength.””
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭10:17-19‬ ‭NCV‬‬
Thank you to Pastor Leonard-Diana Navarre for sharing Daniel 10:17-19 in right time.
It is not by accident that you, too, are seeing this Today.
As I think of Daniel, please don’t think I am comparing my trivial experiences as to Daniel’s, but are our emotions trivial?  Are our thoughts much different? Isn’t God a Spiritual God of our spiritual heart?  And, from where did Daniel’s help come from?

Psalm 121:2 King James Version (KJV)

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

The goodness of God leads you to repentance …

Okay, so we are all in the same arena; Right? We either know it or not, but our help comes from the Lord.  And, the goodness of God leads you to Repentance.  And, God is our God and Father.  According to my faith, I believe someone needs to hear this.  God Creates in us a new heart; and God renews in us a Right Spirit.  All Honor to Jesus!

Break it down to raw honest truth

Continuing on,
I suppose maybe at some point in serving Jesus, you have / or will have experienced this?  Because it is written by a God who understands human hearts.  :)   If you have felt the heat of the day in your serving …. ? And, you feel passed over?  Break it down to raw honest truth, you literally see anyone / almost everyone but you get honor for the doing or saying same thing you have been saying for years?  Am I the only one?  Thoughts can begin:  What I am doing wrong?  What is wrong with me?  But friends, it is not (and never has been) about the I in unity, rather to grow in the deeper knowledge that it’s all about THE God in us!  God is showing us that He Is God!  And we can learn from our Master, Jesus!
Oh, goodness, when we receive this, we will never be the same!
I share honest, because God likes an honest heart.  And, this is not something we see a lot of in the church building on Sundays – You know, people saying things like I know this is of God, because the Lord has dealt with me in this area (admitting to jealously, …or whatever strife).  Don’t we tend to hide / (and if we are honest with our self and God, even want to lie against the truth?) from such embarrassment to admit to envy and selfish ambition?
What does this have to do with the Church?
Friends, If you are joining me today, this is form of Church that is for the Church … If God gives the increase that is.  I am just planting a seed by faith; or perhaps watering, but it is God who gives the increase.  I am here to confess my faults and to encourage you that Jesus is good to give us strength.  We are forgiven -It’s time to grow in Christ.  My ultimate prayer that the Lord has put on my heart to pray: Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest (Matthew 9:38 King James Version).”
James 5:6 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts,
glory not, and lie not against the truth.
And, There are 2 Types of Wisdom.  James 3:13-18

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

And the prophecy of Isaiah Chapter 7,  we can read that it is Written:

Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.

Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

…  I don’t have it all figured out;

BUT GOD DOES…follow Jesus!

13 so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
Can you hide “the glory in your heart” from God?
Can you serve if you don’t confess?
Friend, to God be the Glory Alone.   As we head into the Devotion (or continue on in the Daily Devotion to God’s Holy Word) :)  … I could also share with you Today, since I tend to always share a little bit more with you here at FGGAM than I do in any other public arena, that I was confessing recently to my husband, Robert, and to my spiritual mentor, Pastor Jesse L. Alston that I was feeling a little bit “oh woe’est’ me”  … (in raw truth:  Ridiculous Jealously)  That I had to call it what it was; and get rid of it; … and in telling my story to Pastor Alston, he shared with me that he had been working on a study of Matthew 19, The parable of the Workers in the Vineyard.

30 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard

12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

Jesus does us no wrong!

Can I be honest, this is the one area that I really didn’t think I had an issue with.  Until, God let things happen in a way that I could see how much more I needed to grow in my praise to God.

Jesus promised us Rest, Peace and Joy.  If Peace is missing (pushed back) from your life, perhaps you are looking a bit too much to what people say / think about you (good or bad).   I hope this helps you grow stronger in your confidence in Christ in 2 things:

  1.  It would never be enough!  And, always make you want more!   … If you would receive what you desire (praise from men) – It would never be enough and would always leave you to needing more praise from men to walk in Christ.  But when your heart is sure you have pleased God; and have served well by your faith in Christ, then this is where the true rest in Christ is discovered.  God’s reward is always enough.

Credit: My mom taught me this:

Credit: My mom taught me this:  Lord willing, I will always remember my mom encouraging me to let it go and leave it be:  When our heart is sure we have pleased God, that is enough.   This always gives me strength.  This to me is of God, because it gives me strength to my faith.

a friend is only a friend, if they are a friend in Christ.

2.   The Church is the Body of Believers.  Be careful of the friends you call friends, because a friend is only a friend, if they are a friend in Christ.  The Church is 2 or 3 gathered together in Jesus Name; praising God, and confessing one to the other our weaknesses as we together, in Christ, work together to listen and share and to allow room for each of us to grow in our relationship with Christ, through and by Christ; and in the power of the same Holy Spirit of God alive in each of us who have received the Christ in the Power of the Holy Spirit – through an by God’s Grace in Jesus Name.  See, It is nothing about us, but everything about Jesus.  So, …Getting confession(s) on the outside of us is the way to grow in Christ 1st in a personal relationship, but as a family of God together unified in Christ.  No one is one for himself, but all for the unity and purposes of God through Christ.  We need someone to talk to, that we trust in Christ,  to tell these hidden things to, so we can hear ourselves speak what we think and feel.  And know that God understands you!  That’s why he gave us his Spirit, so we can be of One Body in Christ to serve Him together.

Like a balloon – Gotta let the old bad air out to be renewed with the filling of the new air in Christ.

What would happen, if you tried to put new air in a balloon that was already full?  It would burst, wouldn’t it?   In such a way, we must die to self, as God reveals self to us) to be filled more and more In Christ.

Our right position with God is Thru and by Jesus ….  See?  Our right position with God is thru and by Grace.  None were worthy, but through and by Jesus.

Jesus prayed more than we count His prayers.

As we head in to Today’s Devotion to God’s Holy Word, I am convinced, we are to be found by God in a House of Prayer (see last video posted today).  Jesus prayed more than we count His prayers; and so must we.   It was by prayer first that Jesus served next.  He prayed longer to serve in less time.  See?

I am convinced, our mission to love people begins by prayer.  Then, along our way, when God sends us; or brings to us, we are prepared to serve others well in Christ.   But friends, if you think like I did, … that Matthew 19:30 was the one Scripture that I thought I had covered.  Today, I see that message to the Church in new lenses (in Christ); Let all glory go to Jesus.  I pray this is a blessing to you too.  I am not saying to share your confessions publicly, this is just to reach those who might need encouragement that it is okay to feel anyway you feel – It’s how we deal with what we feel … and know this, Jesus understands you.  And, Jesus loves you more than you can comprehend.

Jesus loves you more than you can comprehend.

If you feel a bit woe’est’ me in serving, I am sharing a video at the end.  Perhaps this is the time you need to be encouraged in this area?

Is Your Strength Gone? By Karen Rowe

We have to be careful what we speak. Sometimes God is revealing something to us, and we don’t quite understand what God is revealing. Shoot, sometimes we don’t even know it is from God & sometimes we can wonder who it is from?

Jesus really does understand you!

BUT friends, we can be sure God knows who He Is! And we can be sure God understands us. He really does understand you!

With this being said, God also knows the secret places in our heart. You know those secret inward thoughts we prefer to deny to our self & Keep to our self.

Hey, like jealously. There’s one that no one wants to admit until freed from it, because of the reins jealously has on our heart.

Our reins are our thoughts we allow; or grow in. Let them be surrendered to God.

Now this is weird, but honest, I asked God if I could TRY to NOT believe [or perhaps, God was actively testing His reins over my mind?

I, the Lord , search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.
Jeremiah 17:10 NKJV

So, the Lord searches the REAL in us & tests the mind in us! Do we truely believe? … and God is so REAL, even to give every one according to our ways.

What does God see when He looks into us?

… he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.
Rn 2:28‭-‬29 NKJV

I believe, because of God in me!
Pray,

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Behold, thou desirest TRUTH in the INWARD parts: AND in the HIDDEN PART thou shalt MAKE me TO KNOW Wisdom [JESUS]. Create IN me a clean heart, O God; and RENEW a right spirit WITHIN me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the JOY of thy SALVATION; and uphold me WITH thy free spirit. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt NOT despise.
Ps 51:1‭-‬3‭, ‬6‭, ‬10‭-‬12‭, ‬17 KJV

What is the difference?
In the Spirit?

After I posted the Daily Devotion to God’s Holy Word, and to demonstrate how we can encourage each other.  I saw three things that weave together for me to know this is of God!
  1. The first thing I saw was this verse posted on FB by Pastor Leonard-Diana Navarre:
“Master, how can I, your servant, talk with you? My strength is gone, and it is hard for me to breathe.” The one who looked like a man touched me again and gave me strength. He said, “Daniel, don’t be afraid. God loves you very much. Peace be with you. Be strong now; be courageous.” When he spoke to me, I became stronger and said, “Master, speak, since you have given me strength.””
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭10:17-19‬ ‭NCV‬‬
How does this speak to your heart?
I say, this is good, because I know it is of God!
It confirms all God is speaking to my heart to be assured, God is for me.  God is with me.  God is in me.  Now, we in Christ can also say, God FOR US, God WITH US, and through an by Christ Jesus, God IN US.

2. Evidenced Faith

3.  And on Instagram, Priscilla Shirer is speaking: Encouraging you to start your day with prayer today. IN JESUS NAME @_goingbeyond

See how God is using many people to serve to speak the same message of Jn 3:16, 17,  in a different way, so that we can see the love of God for the world & to confirm to us to Trust in God alone; Jesus will give you the strength when you are weak to carry on.  We are the Church, Jesus is our all.

I hope this is a blessing to you.  Love in Christ, Karen

John 3:16-17 King James Version (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

IN CLOSING ALWAYS …

Faith pleases God. And it is impossible please God without faith.

BUT LET a man EXAMINE himself, AND SO LET him eat OF THAT bread, and drink OF THAT cup.
1 Corinthians 11:28 KJV

FOR THIS CAUSE many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
1 Corinthians 11:30 KJV

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
James 1:12 KJV

THAT’S ALL FROM ME FOR TODAY!

And, Always Remember 2 Things!

1.  When you receive this, you will never be the same!

2.  God for us.  God with us.  God in us.

NOW … Believing on Jesus,

AFTER THIS MANNER THEREFORE PRAY YE:

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Matthew 6:9-13 King James Version (KJV)

Meet Karen: Hi, I am blessed, by God's good grace and because I know Jesus, I am blessed. I choose to be blessed, because I have a choice set before me and I refuse to look down. I trust God and I know and believe in the love God has for us. I have overcome difficulties; and I am blessed by the grace of God alone. If I have written about it, then I have felt the pain of it in some way, and to some degree. Did you know that Jesus has felt your pain? This is why I write. By God's grace I can identify; and tell you honestly, yes there is hope in anything and everything that you are facing today! Jesus is our Hope! He is the Truth, the Way and the Life. I am married a wonderful man, Robert Rowe; I love my husband and he loves me; and we have been married for 28 years. Together, we have been blessed with a wonderful daughter, named Amanda who is college now; and a wonderful son, named Daniel who is growing up well and soon to graduate elementary school. We work together and by God's grace we run our own business called PSI. We have a pastor over our ministry and over our business and also we depend on him for advise in our family. We have 2 dogs, 4 horses, 2 cats and love to spend time outdoors by the water and by campfires ... that is it seems when we can find time away from life's busy schedule. I love to write because it helps me learn more about God. And, I am driven by a passion from a love that God has put in my heart to share from my experiences and struggles, as I gain understanding in God’s Word to know how effective and powerful God is over our every situation! I share with you so you can know that you are not alone in your struggles. The same God who helps me and my family, is your help and shield as well! Life is not always easy, but it is possible –I like to share the difference that following Jesus makes in my life. And, I love to share God's patience and mercy and love that is with me! I am not perfect, but am experiencing God sanctify me through and through with every mistake I make; and yes, overcome in Christ! Life is not just about the successes; life on this earth is also about the troubles we overcome to discover what God has hidden in our faith to find! Troubles are more a challenge to grow in our faith ... It is not easy, but in the end the grace of God we discover is worth experiencing God in the midst. By Grace, I have discovered Jesus is Peace and He is my Joy and Wisdom from Heaven. God is our Provider and Healer and Creator, who is our help and shield over all things. By grace, I have experienced a nearness to God through my faith in His Son! We are well forgiven by God; and well blessed when we know and believe the love that God has for us. To say, "all is well with my soul" is a powerful knowledge to understand and experience. I sense God's desire for you to know His love for you and how deep His love for you is that He has SO loved you; God gave you His Son. God loves you right now just as you are! There is so much to learn! I believe that as we learn from God, we are God’s gift to each other. It is all God’s story –and for His glory; and God has SO loved us. I love to paint the vision that God has given me about a Father’s love –that God wants you to dream again and visualize His love for you! In God’s eyes, there’s more to life than we see; and in a world that sometimes misrepresents and misunderstands God and love; God wants you to have the courage to dream His dream and see His vision of a Father’s love for you! Many years ago, I prayed to God, “How can I tell a million people what I know about Your Son?” God showed me I had a gift of a ministry about God's Love; and He called it Hope in Today! I write to please God and I write to encourage you; and I write to spend quiet time with God. All because of this love that God has first shown me! I need Jesus –and my life is about my relationship with God. And, every blessing begins with Him! Love in Christ, Karen Rowe, Director Hope in Today Ministries, Inc.
