Don’t Let The Thieves Steal Your Identity…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. We all struggle at times with our self worth  and with who we are. Do we measure up or don’t we? I have had so many religious people tell me because I am a woman, I can’t do this, I can’t do that. Some tell me I should never stand behind a pulpit because I am divorced. Others say because my hair is not long enough and I don’t dress a certain way. Other’s say I have to pay penitence for things I have done. Some say because I am a woman, I must come under a man. Other’s give me their opinion (that I never asked for) what they think. I have learned to go straight to Jesus and his word.

The world beats on us about what we should look like. Our weight, our education, our looks, our talents and so many things try to identify us. When I came to Jesus, He accepted me just the way I was. We often hear the saying come as you are. Then what? Sometimes people start trying to make us fit in their mold and their expectations instead of loving people for who they are and right where they are at. Only God himself can do the deep work in each of us, only God. I just feel the urgency to tell the world once again from my prayer time 2018, you are enough. Let’s Pray:

Tell Them…

Tell them I love them…Tell them they are mine…
Tell them I will never leave them nor forsake them.
Tell them they are precious gems…Tell them I see them as perfect.
Tell them they reflect my image…Tell them not to look back.
Tell them to look straight ahead…Tell them I laid out the red carpet for them.
My blood, It was enough.
Tell them, tell them, tell them again!

Father, thank you that we are yours and we measure up. What you say about us is all that really matters. You said your blood that paid the price for our sins was enough. No one has lived our lives, but us. You, oh God, have seen it all. Nothing goes unseen by your watchful eye. To the divorcee you say you are loved. To the woman that looks less than the world’s eyes as perfect, you say she is mine.

Father, thank you for the red carpet. That blood was costly and because you paid the price, we can live free in you. Thank you for accepting us as we are.

Father, we are who you say we are. Amen

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. You are enough.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. Ephesians 1:7
