From the Albuquerque Police Department Facebook page: The family of beautiful little Lilly Garcia who was shot and killed yesterday has set up an account to help with expenses.
There have been reports of a fradulent account out there. We are working with the FBI to track it down.
In the meantime this is the true account for the Garcia family.
Daniels Family Funeral Services has also stepped up to assist this family with their expenses.
THIS IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHO WE ARE IN ALBUQUERQUE. WE TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER AND HELP THOSE WHO ARE HURTING.
Mayor Richard J. Berry has also put up a $10,000 reward and the City Council has matched that with an additional $10,000. Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers also has a $1,000 reward and the FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation also has $5,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
So a whopping total of $26,000! Let’s get #JusticeforLilly
