Let us pray for Cindy Mansfield! Cindy is the lovely wife of Pastor Richard Mansfield of New Beginnings Church in Albuquerque. Cindy is the manager of KNAT-TV 23 and TBN Southwest Regional Manager.
Here is what Pastor Richard has to share on Cindy’s accident:
Cindy and I were on our way up to Fenton Lake earlier today and stopped at a gas station near San Ysidrio where she tripped over some uneven pavement and took a very very hard fall. We are currently at Rust Presbyterian Hospital in Rio Rancho in the ER. They just took x-rays and a CT Scan. She injured her left side from her fingertips to her left shoulder, chin, neck, left breast and ribs.
We were just told that her left hand and nose are broken! Your prayers are welcomed!
Here is an update……..
On behalf of Cindy and me, we want to say thank you very much for all of your love, support and prayers. Cindy was released from the hospital and we got home a little over an hour ago. She had a light supper and took a pain reliever. She is trying to get some rest.
Due to her broken nose, she has a tremendous amount of pressure in her eyes, pain from the bridge of her nose to the back of her head. She also has a tremendous amount of soreness from her left side shoulder down to her waist. She also has a tremendous amount of pain in her left hand which she broke.
They put a temporary cast/splint on her and she will follow up with an orthopedic doctor this coming week to determine what steps to take. At that time the orthopedic doctor will decide to either put a full cast, or what other measures he might have to take. Your love and support has been heartfelt and very much needed.
