Naphtali Fraenkel, Gil-Ad Shaer and Eyal Yifrach, three Israeli teenagers who were studying in a Jewish yeshiva, were kidnapped late last week as they were attempting to hitchhike near the Gush Etzion block of settlements in the West Bank, just south of Jerusalem. IDF and civilian security agencies immediately launched a massive search of the area, arresting over 130 known members of the Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror militias. Following interrogations, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his certainty that Hamas operatives were behind the kidnappings and demanded that the Palestinian Authority assist in locating the teens.
