(Undated)  —  NASA says it’s identified 715 new planets outside of our solar system.  By studying two years of data collected from the orbiting Kepler observatory, scientists found that many of these exoplanets are the size of Earth or Neptune and a few are as big as Jupiter.  Four of the newly-discovered planets appear to be in the so-called “Goldilocks Zone” which could make it possible for them to sustain life.  The discovery nearly doubles the total number of planets which were previously known to exist.
