The Life of a Mom and Her Son

I so enjoyed spending the entire weekend with this young man while he played ball. He is growing up in so many ways and I am proud of him more than I can express. From watching him show kindness and respect on the field and in the dugout to realizing he is soon going to be tall enough to look at the top of my head and noticing the peach fuzz that has decided to grow on his upper lip overnight is enough for me to not only be proud of who is becoming but also smart enough to know he isn’t going to be my little boy for much longer. So I’m soaking up every last minute of “little” I can, even if that means saying no to other people and no to other events because those people and things will wait, him growing up will not. I am so grateful that God chose me to be his Mom. Love you my handsome son.
