I was in Reserve, New Mexico preaching yesterday at the First Baptist Church. The Buzzard Fire continues on. I met these water trucks as I started to enter into Reserve. I also passed the Command Center for the Buzzard Fire, which is the Apache Creek Fire Hall. No rain fell in the area yesterday, it is dry as a bone in Carton County. Please continue to pray for rain for Catron County.

We spent much time yesterday in prayer for rain and the safety of our Firefighters. There is a Revival going on this week, it started last night, at the Baptist Church in Pie Town and I know are praying for rain, the whole County is in a world of hurt.

The Buzzard Fire has burned 29,727 acres as of June 3rd. It is 41% contained. On the way home from Reserve it rained from just outside Magdalena into Albuquerque. South of Belen there was hail and the drainage ditches were nearly full. About a hand full of cars went into the ditch, probably from the hail and rain storm.

The Ute Park Fire grew to just over 36,000 acres by Sunday evening, but thunderstorms improved firefighting conditions and the fire was about one-quarter contained by night: ABQ Journal Report

Firefighters are making progress on the 416 Fire near Durango.
The 2,255-acre blaze is now 10 %  contained. Approximately 825 residences have been evacuated near Durango.
