Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Colossians 4:2

Have you ever felt like your prayer request is not a necessity or maybe you feel that it’s trivial compared to others?

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-17

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Ephesians 6:18

Throughout the scripture, we will find the importance of prayer and time with our Lord. And that God cares about every detail of our lives, even the smallest of details are important to him.

He numbers the hair on your head.

Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Luke 12:7

And He feeds the birds.

God cares deeply about things we might consider trivial.

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Matthew 6:26

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

Psalm 139:13-14

This particular Psalm shows us the closeness our God has in the lives of his children.

Each life matters and we were uniquely designed by God. We are made in His image, His eye is on us and He adores us and wants us to communicate with Him!

Scripture talks about Gods love for us. We know when we love someone, we care about every detail in their lives, so how much more does God care?

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father’s care.

Matthew 10:29

There didn’t seem to be a high value placed on sparrows (a penny) yet God cared even for the well-being of these birds, how much more concern does he place on all our cares?

Remember, whenever you have a need, a care or an issue, take it to God immediately, no matter how insignificant you may think your request is!

When my kids were younger, they would occasionally go places without me, during the day, with my sisters or my parents.

When they’d come home, even though I basically knew what they had done, they would tell me the full details of their outings.

I was absolutely thrilled that they wanted to share this with me.

They did this because they were excited to give me every detail, no matter how small it was.

I’d smile the whole time they shared the details with me! It delighted my soul❤️

We bless God when we share with him and pray to him. He’s not waiting for only “important “ requests, but all requests.

So, Pray Bold prayers, often.

Many Blessings,

Connie
