Changing Atmospheres…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Saturday. A friend and I talked recently how atmospheres shift. You know when someone walks in the room and things become quiet, and you wonder what just happened, etc. Maybe when you walk in the room you shift the atmosphere. One thing I know for sure is praise shifts atmospheres.
I like to play Christian music and invite the Holy Spirit into the room before every meeting I host. The presence of God can change your home, change your circumstance, change your mindset and so much more. One minute in the presence of God, things change. I like to build an atmosphere of praise. I want people to feel his presence, feel his love and be full of joy and peace. I want that for myself, who wouldn’t really. Do you want more of his presence?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that you dwell among us. Psalm 100 tells us to shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his, we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Father, we praise you today and every day. Together all across this globe we pray the Lord’s Prayer: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom and the glory forever. Amen.
