FGGAM Photo: So thankful for my treasure! Sharon and I are so blessed to team together so much more since she retired from nursing. God has made FGGAM so much stronger! Sharon is full of such love and understanding! The love and care of Jesus! I say this very humbly and all for the Glory of God: We make an awesome team for Jesus!

I saw a message by Chris Wesley in Churchleaders today. God then sent me a message to you all! I would stress that when you are called into ministry, you also will be called out of your ministry. Back in 1986 I was called to join the team of WFRN Christian radio in South Bend/Elkhart, Indiana. I rose to VP. Then in 1995 God called us to move to Albuquerque for family reasons. I struggled to find a Christian radio job for a few years. Then God opened a door for me at KKIM Christian radio! Glory! My first job as a manager of a Christian station! I learned much from the late Ed Moore and his mother, brother and sister on how to operate a Christian station. KKIM was dying a slow death death! Ownership did not even have a manager in place for KKIM, they just let it run on auto pilot! PTL! God surrounded me with so many Christian friends and KIIM became so very much alive for JESUS! I also was given KKIM FM in Santa Fe to manage! Glory!

In my 8 years at KKIM I learned so much. I became a Pastor in 2009. I became associate Pastor to Jim Montoya of the Church of God in Los Lunas, NM. I also began to preach in Churches around the state. THEN IT HAPPENED! Three Pastors came in and told me that God had told them to tell me that I was to leave KKIM and begin to preach the WORD of GOD around New Mexico. All three stated to me that God had told them I was not to be concerned anymore about the day to day operations of any radio station. I was to use my gift to preach HIS WORD!

God even gave me the name of the ministry. For God’s Glory Alone Ministries. I fought with GOD about leaving KKIM. Sharon and I had just bought a new house. The monthly payments were based on both our salaries. I drugged my feet. I did not want to leave because of financial obligations. Things at the station began to go wrong. Duties that were so simple for me, became difficult. I knew at that time I was no longer doing the LORD’S WILL. I left!

Sharon sacrificed much for the first 2 1/2 years. She sold much of her personal belongings and other items to keep us afloat. God called us out, and HE provided for us! Amen! HE CALLED US! FGGAM will be 12 years young in August! All Glory to GOD!

The lesson here is, you have to be called and you have to be called out. Meaning listen to GOD, not yourself. LISTEN AND HEAR GOD!

Churchleaders

Chris Wesley

You won’t be the leader of your ministry forever. One day, you’ll have to step down because of some kind of life change. It’s important to recognize this transition ahead of time so that you can take the necessary steps to transfer power. How do you know when you need to step down? The Rest of The Story Here
