The witness who intervened and shot the man who attacked fallen Las Cruces police officer Jonah Hernandez will not face any charges.

I received a notice from my friend, former Albuquerque Police Chief Gorden Eden about the 100 Club’s Fundraiser. The mission of the 100 Club is to provide aid and to assist by financial or other means, the families of sworn police and other law enforcement officers and firefighters in New Mexico who lose their lives in the line of duty.

100 Club Fundraiser

On Thursday, March 28, 2024, the NM 100 Club will be at the FOP Albuquerque Lodge 1 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM to collect donations. KKOB Radio is hosting a radio fundraising event for the NM 100 Club and will be directing people to come to the FOP to drop off donations, as well as making online donations to The 100 Club of New Mexico – Because We Care.

The NM 100 Club has made two significant donations this year, one to the family of Las Cruces Officer Jonah Hernandez – more information HERE, and now to the family of slain NMSP Officer Justin Hare.  See New Mexico Honors the Life of State Police Officer Justin Hare.

All are invited to attend and even join the NM 100 Club. Cumulus Media operations manager Jared Hart has graciously approved this event. The KKOB management team, radio hosts and Darren White have made this opportunity available to benefit the 100 Club of NM.

The event will be held:

Thursday, March 28, 2024
3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
FOP Lodge #1
4120 Cutler Avenue NE
Albuquerque, New Mexico 87110

Thanks!

Dave Keylon
President, NM 100 Club
