Senate Leader Chuck Schumer is Bringing a Curse Upon America

Historically, the United States of America has stood with and supported Israel. We were there at the founding of the Jewish state in 1948, almost 76 years ago. We have aided Israel in a variety of ways because when the USA had greater biblical literacy, we understood that the Lord would bless us for blessing Israel, we understood that Israel would play a prominent role in the last days and that Jesus Himself would come to the defense of Israel and therefore so should we.

But in recent years, as we reject the God of the Bible, that has begun to change. Even in the last five months, we have observed a radical change in our nation that we did not want to believe would ever happen. Those of us who understand scripture understand that our leaders are bringing an even greater curse on our nation than what we already endure.

This is showing up first, as usual, in the Democratic Party as the President of the United States was caught on a hot mic saying that he told Benjamin Netanyahu that they would have to have a “come to Jesus moment,” which had nothing to do with Jesus.

Then yesterday, Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer took to the Senate floor and called for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to step down and for his government to be dissolved. He stated that Israel had “lost its way” as it rooted out Hamas terrorists for the rape and murder of its citizens and further called for a ridiculous “2 state solution.”

Understand that each time an American leader has attacked Israel on the world stage, calling for Israel to stop defending itself, stop building settlements, and/or accept the “2 state solution,” not good things have happened almost immediately.

Indeed, Israeli Prime Ministers have learned that the best way to end your term suddenly by death or illness is to trade land in Israel for false peace. The land belongs to the Lord and is not even for Israel to give away.

Here are two prominent examples:

Yitzhak Rabin: One of the most poignant examples involves Yitzhak Rabin, the Prime Minister who played a pivotal role in the Oslo Accords in the 1990s. These agreements were based on the principle of land for peace, aiming to lay the groundwork for peace between Israel and the Palestinians. However, the aftermath saw a surge in violence, including terrorist attacks against Israelis. Rabin himself became a tragic symbol of the high stakes involved when he was assassinated in 1995 by a Jewish extremist who opposed the Accords. Rabin’s death underscored the deep divisions within Israel over the land-for-peace concept and highlighted the personal risks Israel’s leaders take in pursuing false peace.

Ariel Sharon: Another example is Ariel Sharon, who, as Prime Minister, implemented the unilateral disengagement from the Gaza Strip in 2005, removing all Israeli settlements and military presence in the area. However, instead of peace, the withdrawal was followed by the takeover of Gaza by Hamas, an organization classified by many countries as a terrorist group, which subsequently launched rockets into Israeli territory. Sharon’s health deteriorated rapidly after the disengagement, leading to a stroke that left him in a coma until he died in 2014. This plan brought more instability to the region and compromised Israel’s security.

The United States is heading down a very dangerous path. We already see the curse of rejecting the Lord and His ways at work in our nation. A recent Gallup poll reveals that about 22% of 18–26-year-olds self-identify as LGBT, and now that same age group opposes Israel and supports Hamas.

There is a connection. Which further compounds the curse being brought on our nation.

I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Genesis 12:3

  1. Everyone in America needs to read this article! I questioned a couple days ago why the Biden administration seemed – according to its own assessments, statements, policies, military maneuvers, and worse, assessments and comments from other nations – to be trying to overthrow the Netanyahu coalition (and predictably, replace it with a more liberally-minded government).
