Behold, the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep.

Psalm 121:4

God will never doze off on us.

Sometimes it may feel like God is distant from us. I know I’ve felt that plenty of times. We must always remember that He is close to us, at ALL times.

Recently, I’ve been really interested in knowing more about God‘s character. Obviously, that’s something I should’ve been doing more of, but that’s one study I’ve never actually sat down and completed.

The first character trait I think about when I think of God, is “faithfulness.” He is truly faithful!

There are plenty of scriptures to back that up of course, but I also have felt it throughout my life’s journey. Not once did He ever leave me or forsake me, since day one.

There were times I felt like he’d left, but that was my own disbelief and faithlessness. That was on me.

He’s watching over us, around-the-clock, day and night, 24/7. He doesn’t sleep, He won’t leave us by ourselves to “figure it out.”

Again, if you’re feeling that way, it’s you, not Him. And He’s waiting on you to return to your faith and to Him. Go to him now and repent and pray, for He loves you fiercely!

God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 1:9

Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

Deuteronomy 7:9

Your love, LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.

Psalm 36:5

If we are faithless, He remains faithful – for He cannot deny Himself.

2 Timothy 2:13.

The eyes of the Lord are in every place,
Keeping watch on the evil and the good.

Proverbs 15:3

God promises to watch over us as his children. He doesn’t take breaks or look away, nor does he Doze off.

Rest in Him tonight, He’s wide awake!

Many Blessing’s,

Connie
