GLORY TO GOD! Psalm 139, Baptist General Convention of Texas place ultrasound machine in Hobbs, NM pregnancy center

Rachel Wiles director of the Psalm 139 Project: “This placement in Hobbs, in partnership with the BGCT, is unique since the state convention is reaching beyond its borders and giving with a missional mindset to serve their neighbors in an abortion-permissible state. “I think that’s the beauty of this placement. Many women from Texas are traveling to New Mexico where abortion is permissible. The BGCT is rightly asking the question, ‘How can we support the pro-life movement there?’”

Shame on New Mexico for being a destination point for the killing God’s babies……a dark cloud of death covers the state for many reasons. What does the Bible say about abortion? Simply put, abortion is murder. It is the killing of a human being created in the image of God. So many murders, drugs, booze, drunk driving deaths. Teenagers killing teenagers. Crime is out of control here. New Mexico needs the heart of Texas! Its the same ol’ thing here in New Mexico, it just gets worse. Sure, Texas has its share of problems, but not like the so called, ‘land of enchantment’ UGH!! There are so many hard working folks here in New Mexico fighting the evil of killing God’s babies. BUT! The people of New Mexico keep electing politicians that are for abortion! Lord have mercy! New Mexico invites danger. I reported this news yesterday: Pot Shops in Albuquerque under investigation for alleged ties to international organized crime

From this week: Victim’s Mother Speaks Out After New Mexico Democrats Kill ‘Revolving Door’ Crime Bill. NM Needs a Come to JESUS Meeting!

We have lived here since 1995, it just gets worse and worse here every year. For a small state, just over 2 million, it raises a lot of hell.

REPENT NEW MEXICO! COME TO JESUS! CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOR! COME TO GOD!

Just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview, New Mexico reflects that so very clearly.

Got Questions states:

Repentance is an important topic in the New Testament.

John the Baptist’s message was “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near” (Matthew 3:2, see also Mark 1:15 and Luke 3:38).

When Jesus started His public ministry, He also called for repentance. Matthew 4:17 records, “From that time on Jesus began to preach, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.’” Jesus says of repentance, “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent” (Luke 15:7). More Here

HOBBS, N.M. (BP) – The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission’s Psalm 139 Project has partnered with the Baptist General Convention of Texas to place an ultrasound at Legacy Pregnancy Resource Center in Hobbs, N.M.

The ultrasound placement highlights the cooperation of Southern Baptists across local churches, state conventions and SBC entities in meeting a specific need in an important location.

“At the ERLC, we are overjoyed when we can partner with state conventions as we stand for life together,” said Rachel Wiles director of the Psalm 139 Project.

“This placement in Hobbs, in partnership with the BGCT, is unique since the state convention is reaching beyond its borders and giving with a missional mindset to serve their neighbors in an abortion-permissible state.

“I think that’s the beauty of this placement. Many women from Texas are traveling to New Mexico where abortion is permissible. The BGCT is rightly asking the question, ‘How can we support the pro-life movement there?’”

Janet Waldrop, executive director for the Legacy Pregnancy Resource Center, said the placement of the machine on Jan. 23 was an example of God’s providence. More Here

Come to Jesus and live.

From Got Questions: Having a right relationship with God begins with acknowledging your sin. Next comes a humble confession of your sin to God (Isaiah 57:15). “For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Romans 10:10).

This repentance must be accompanied by faith – specifically, faith that Jesus’ sacrificial death and miraculous resurrection qualify Him to be your Savior. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). Many other passages speak of the necessity of faith, such as John 20:27Acts 16:31Galatians 2:163:1126; and Ephesians 2:8.

How do you get right with God?

What is a Biblical Worldview?

From Focus on the family:

A biblical worldview is based on the infallible Word of God. When you believe the Bible is entirely true, then you allow it to be the foundation of everything you say and do. That means, for instance, you take seriously the mandate in Romans 13 to honor the governing authorities by researching the candidates and issues, making voting a priority.

Do you have a biblical worldview? Answer the following questions, based on claims found in the Bible and which George Barna used in his survey:

  • Do absolute moral truths exist?
  • Is absolute truth defined by the Bible?
  • Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life?
  • Is God the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe, and does He still rule it today?
  • Is salvation a gift from God that cannot be earned?
  • Is Satan real?
  • Does a Christian have a responsibility to share his or her faith in Christ with other people? It is called carrying out The Great Commission. Do you? It is a command, not a suggestion!
  • Is the Bible accurate in all of its teachings?

Did you answer yes to these? Only 9 percent of “born- again” believers did. But what’s more important than your yes to these questions is whether your life shows it. Granted, we are all sinners and fall short, but most of our gut reactions will reflect what we deep-down, honest-to-goodness believe to be real and true.
