Tackle The Year By Expecting Goodness Every Day…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It’s Thursday, another day to expect God’s goodness to come our way. Another day to tackle the work that God has given us.

The snow had covered my part of the world and now the rain comes and washes it away. The football field is closed for the season, only the memory of the games remain. It was a good year. The Huskies youngest fan was a delight for this praying grandmother of number 7, at the games this year. The proud parents face of this young Husky fan tells it all. I couldn’t help myself, I just had to ask these dear folks for permission to take their photo for one of my writings.

God’s Word tells us in Psalm 23:6 that surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

I thought about this team last night. I bet they showed up to every game expecting to win. I want to show up every day this year tackling every assignment and ready to win. How about you?

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that your children want for nothing. You are the best Father. Today, we just want to say thank you, thank you for your goodness, your mercy, your love, the many blessings and guiding our lives as we journey our days here on earth.

Father, thank you that everything we have or will ever obtain is because of you. Thank you that you, oh God, order a hedge of protection around us. We fear no evil for your Word tells us to pray like this: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and glory forever and ever, amen. Matthew 6:9-13

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Tackle every day this year expecting some goodness to come your way.
