John Piper expressed optimism about the future of global Christian missions even if current conflicts in Eastern Europe and the Middle East lead to World War III.

On an episode of the “Ask Pastor John” podcast, a listener identified as “Malcolm” asked about wars raging across the globe, noting that he was “anxious about the state of the world.”

“All the world’s major armies seem to be awakening from a long slumber,” said Malcolm. “As we step into this new age of global tension, and as you see the news — the wars and the rumors of wars — what are your spiritual reflections about global conflicts?” More Here

Dr. Jim Denison: I have no way to know if this deadly attack will lead to greater escalation in the region and even a world war involving the US and Iran. But I do know that “the pivots of history are microscopic,” as Charles Spurgeon observed. And I do know that nothing that happens next will surprise the omniscient Lord of the universe or deter his omnipotent power and sovereign purposes in our world. More Here
