She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:21

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).

Matthew 1:23

When Christians celebrate Christmas, we are celebrating the moment in history when prophecy was fulfilled. God came to be with us.

The name of Jesus is the greatest name ever spoken. The above scripture tells us that the angel said to Joseph, “and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”

That name is the most important name in position of all names ever given. Jesus means Savior; the Hebrew name is even more specific – it means Yahweh My Savior, or Yahweh Is Salvation

To the artist, He is the fairest of ten thousand, and the One who is altogether lovely.

To the astronomer, He is the light of the world and the bright and morning star.

To the builder, He is the solid rock and the chief cornerstone.

To the farmer, He is the sower who went forth to sow.

To the florist, He is the lily of the valley and the rose of sharon.

To the judge, He is a man without fault.

To the juror, He is the faithful and true witness.

To those in government, He is the eternal king of kings.

To the sick, He is the great physician.

To the sinners, He is the suffering Savior.

To the statesman, He is the desire of all nations.

To the theologian, He is the author and finisher of our faith.

To the toiler, He is the giver of rest.

The name of Jesus includes all that you will ever need in this life and in the life to come. It is the most inclusive name that has ever been given among men.

(More than bread ministries)

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:12

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Isaiah 9:6

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Isaiah 7:14

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:9-11

The name of Jesus carries absolute power to cause every adverse thing to bow, and will pull you out of adverse situations.

Merry Christmas,

Connie
