He dwelt among us

‭‭John‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The wait is almost over.

The preparations are just about done.

The stress and anxiety of finding the perfect gift will all be worth the joy to see on all those faces.

What are we really celebrating?

The quick answer is the Birth of the most Precious Gift that humanity has ever received!

The Birth of Salvation!

The Birth of Redemption!

The Birth of Restoration!

Our relief in the times of hardship and sorrow.

The sought after Peace of mind and joy of heart.

Our first taste of Heaven!

The Glory of Heaven, Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Yes, born to a Virgin.

Yes, born in Manger!

The Second person of the Great Trinity of Heaven.

The One that has always existed from the beginning of time.

The One that humbled Himself to come off His Mighty Throne to be born in flesh.

Through this incarnation became human for no other reason than to die for the sinner!

He became flesh so he could become the Savior of all mankind!

The Father in Heaven gave His children the Law to follow. Only 10 Commandments!

Even those Holy 10 Commandments could not be for the hard and crooked heart were unattainable.

There are some things we just do not realize, understand or have forgotten!

Jesus was a Jew born into a Jewish family.

Joseph and Mary were Commanded to follow these same Laws the Father had given so many generations before the Birth of our Savior!

In order for Jesus to come and Save humanity from the clutches of Eternal Separation from the Father, He had to be born under this same law.

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4:3‭-‬5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

Glory to God!

We celebrate not just the Birth of Christ but we MUST celebrate the fullness of Christ!

Part of that fullness is us becoming adopted sons and daughters!

The Word of God becomes flesh!

Words can be so comforting to lonely lost souls! But nothing brings more or fullfills us more than Jesus!

Jesus is the Message of Heaven!

Jesus is the image of the invisible God of Glory!

This Baby found by the shepherds in a Dark, Cold, Damp Manger would be the Perfect, unblemished Lamb of God that would be suitable for the Ransom of many!

The embodiment of Jesus is what the Father wants to communicate to all of humanity!

This is where we find that hope and joy we so covet.

This is where we find the peace we yearn for.

The Birth of Christ is so much more than we ever deserved or knew we needed.

It is the unveiling of the Mercy of God!

It is the Glory of God that we celebrate this week.

The Glory of God’s perfect Word becomes perfect flesh so we could have a Perfect Savior!

He wasn’t born to show His power for the sake of authority.

But His power would be seen through His humility and suffering.

Born in the humility of a Manger and died in humility on the Cross.

His mission was one of Rescue.

Think about this today.

Even as the decree from King Herod went out to kill all first born sons was defeated by the birth of Jesus, so too was this same death defeated by this same King at the Cross and through His Resurrection!

We have a desperate condition in our humanity that needs to be dealt with, sin.

We all have fallen short of the Glory of God.

We are all guilty.

We all deserve the punishment of God!

But Hallelujah!

The Word of God became flesh!

I plead with you to truly take more than a moment of your time today to consider this!

This is along with His Resurrection are the most important celebrations of all humankind!

The intervention of God through His Son to show us the character of His heart!

Father forgive us for not totally receiving the Gift of Your Son!

This week, this day and everyday celebrate the Glory of Heaven!

Behold His Glory!

See the fullness of God through His Son Jesus Christ!

It is in this Perfect Lamb we can see the grace of God and experience His truth!

This is the Celebration of Christmas!
