BREAKING NEWS

The Times of Israel is reporting that the awaited release of 50 hostages by Hamas has been delayed until at least Friday (11/24/2023).

According to a top aide to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, implementation of the deal was supposed to begin tomorrow, but the hostage release is now delayed until Friday, at the earliest.

According to an Israeli official briefing reporters on condition of anonymity, the delay occurred because both Israel and Hamas need to ratify the agreement in writing before it will become effective – which is contrary to what was previously understood.

It is expected that the agreement will be signed within the next 24 hours, in time for the first hostages to be released on Friday.
