My brothers and sisters, let’s all pray for the grieving family members, law enforcement personnel, and others who have been emotionally impacted – and yes, for the shooter’s family and loved ones.  This has been an utterly horrifying and evil event.  So many lives have been needlessly lost.

We are so thankful that we serve a loving God who can bring comfort and peace, beyond our understanding and capability, even in utterly tragic times.  Lord have mercy!

Psalm 29:11 (NKJV)
“The Lord will give strength to His people; [t]he Lord will bless His people with peace.”

Psalm 118:29 (NKJV)
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!  For His mercy endures forever.”

Psalm 147:3 (NKJV)
“He heals the brokenhearted [a]nd binds up their wounds.”

2 Corinthians 1:3 (NKJV)
Comfort in Suffering
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort…”.

Praise Jesus forevermore!
