REUTERS reports that on September 1, 2023, Planned Parenthood filed a complaint in federal court arguing that the “qui tam” provision of the federal False Claims Act, which allows private citizens (whistleblowers) to take on the role of government officials by presenting evidence of violations and asking the government to enforce the law, violates the US Constitution.

Planned Parenthood’s complaint was prompted by a 2021 lawsuit filed by the State of Texas following information received by a whistleblower.  The lawsuit alleges that $1.8 billion received by Planned Parenthood from the State of Texas’ Medicaid program was improperly billed and should have been refunded to the state following court-related delays in finalizing the State of Texas’ 2015 decision to terminate Planned Parenthood from its Medicaid program.

My brothers and sisters, Planned Parenthood seems undeterred in its effort to expand the culture of death in this country.  It’s clear, with the above report as an example, that the abortion industry is highly lucrative for Planned Parenthood and apparently justifies the millions of dollars its spends to maintain its operations and to fight God-fearing citizens who see abortion for the evil it is.

Let’s not forget that the money used for state Medicaid programs comes from you and me (the taxpayers), as does all of the money used by all governments – because civil government never “makes” money, it simply takes it from those who work to accomplish its goals.

As a Christian, I resent that any of my tax dollars (local, state or federal) are used to terminate the lives of unborn babies.  This should not be so.  Shame on our country for even allowing this to happen!  May the Lord protect this whistleblower and show favor in the above-mentioned and all ongoing court cases filed on behalf of unborn children.  Lord, have mercy on our land!

Let’s never forget that we were made in the image and likeness of God and that He loves us and knew us before we were ever formed in our mothers’ wombs.  We are so very important to the Father.  What right do we have to decide who dies and who lives?  Lord, have mercy on us!

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)
“…if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Psalm 139:13-16 (NKJV)
“For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.  I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; [m]arvelous are Your works, [a]nd that my soul knows very well.  My frame was not hidden from You, [w]hen I was made in secret, [a]nd skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.  Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.  And in Your book they all were written, [t]he days fashioned for me, [w]hen as yet there were none of them.”

Praise Jesus forevermore!
