I received the news release below from the governors office yesterday. This report just strikes me as to her total lack of godly leadership. Godly leadership means you serve others and help in any way you can. This means leaders are to have humility. Likewise, godly leadership means you do not see others as being inferior to you. Rather, a godly leader views each person equally and treats them the same. God directs your steps, your words, your actions. You have God in your heart and soul. The Lord is your SAVIOR! “And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world” (1 John 4:14). As Savior, Jesus is the only One Who can save us! You do not kill God’s babies through abortion. What does the Bible say about abortion? Simply put, abortion is murder. It is the killing of a human being created in the image of God. My goodness sakes! To think the majority of the people of New Mexico reelected her! I am just heart sick! We are surrounded by chaos, murders, crime raging, her ‘gun grab,’ and she leaves the state.  Federal Judge Issues Temporary Restraining Order Blocking New Mexico Governor’s Ban On The Carry Of Firearms. My friend Rodney Byam, a former police officer and city counselor from my hometown of Windom, Minnesota, texted me and stated: “What is going on with the NM governor? She should be arrested and recalled.”

I cannot even imagine leaving the state at such a time as this if I was governor. She runs from problems. She loves to spend our money, for sure, as the state goes to hell. Just think folks! Just 37% of residents in New Mexico pay taxes! We float the boat for the rest! That figure comes from State Rep. Jim Townsend. Will we ever see tangible results from her trip to Taiwan???? My bet is NO! New Mexico Representative Jim Townsend (R) Op-ed: When Your Governor Goes Rogue

Is the state lost for good?

Baby Found Dead in Hobbs, NM Hospital

New Mexico is living proof of George Barna’s research: Just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview and just 37% of Pastors have a Biblical Worldview. This is reflected by the state of affairs here! One of the top reasons Sharon and I get when we are out on the streets from people  as to why the do not go to Church: “The Church does not doing anything for me, it is no longer effective in our country.”

Billy Graham puts it this way:

Down deep, men and women want peace in their souls and will desperately try everything except Almighty God. Why? Human nature rebels against humbling itself before the One who came to save lost souls. Many people search for fulfillment while ignoring God. Some will spend a lifetime searching for something, never willing to acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ who said, “Search the Scriptures … which testify of Me” (John 5:39).When a person truly searches for God with all his heart, God will reveal Himself in some way. The only answer to man’s search is found in Christ, for Jesus spoke of Himself as the answer to man’s quest: “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).

All Christians, including myself, need to look into the mirror and ask ourselves: Are we being effective for JESUS? The solution is carrying out The Great Commission , bring down the walls, the kingdoms of men, denominations, tear them down, leave the power, the money, the ego……..go out for JESUS, not your agenda! We are to be the BODY OF CHRIST! NOT INDEPENDENT IN OUR WAYS! There is power in numbers! Why is there a Church on every street corner in New Mexico and all over America, and we are still going to hell as country? Get out on the road, hear from people.

It is not about YOU!

PS: I do not understand why more Christians in New Mexico and all over America are not groaning and mourning the loss of souls. Do you have a heart for people?

So many are just plain fools, thinking the Lord approves of the killing of His babies. God will have the final say about all of us.

Here is the news release:

TAIPEI, Taiwan – New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham will lead a business and trade mission to Taiwan on Sunday to participate in U.S. Business Day and meet with Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen, Minister of Economic Affairs Wang Mei-hua and manufacturing companies interested in locating to the state.

Gov. Lujan Grisham will speak on September 19 at U.S. Business Day in Taipei, the premier business and economic development event in Taiwan sponsored by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council. The delegation will also make presentations on New Mexico’s business climate, workforce, and logistical advantages of its international border zone at a U.S. Business Day investment forum with companies interested in expanding operations to the United States. The governor plans to meet with several Taiwanese public officials and business owners one-on-one.

Gov. Lujan Grisham has identified global trade as a target industry in New Mexico to boost economic diversification and create more job opportunities along the state’s international border with Mexico. In 2022, the State of New Mexico and the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs signed an MOU to promote closer trade relations between the parties.

“New Mexico has the ideal economic climate to attract global businesses, including in Asia,” said Gov. Lujan Grisham. “I see great potential to strengthen the partnerships we have already established in Taiwan, bringing continued stability and economic opportunity to all our citizens.”

“We cherish the long-lasting friendship between Taiwan and New Mexico,” Amino Chi, Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in LA, said on behalf of the Taiwanese government. “This is the second visit to Taiwan for Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and some other delegates, and we hope that the two parties will further strengthen bilateral collaborations in economic development, trade, and energy.”

Since 2019, the state Economic Development Department has opened a foreign trade office in Taipei and several Asian companies have chosen to expand to New Mexico for its logistical proximity to North American customers and excellent transportation infrastructure, providing for a more robust and resilient supply chain. In August, Singapore-based Maxeon Technologies announced it would locate the only solar panel manufacturing plant in the United States in Albuquerque. Taiwan-based Admiral Cable and label-printing company Cymmetrik have expanded to Santa Teresa in the last several years.

Gov. Lujan Grisham pledged $30 million in state money to improve infrastructure along the New Mexico side of the international border, and she is advocating for additional funding from the federal government for improvements at the Santa Teresa Port of Entry, where commercial crossings continue to increase. The state has also committed to paying for a new border highway extension to cut commute times for those working in Santa Teresa.

The Governor will travel with an official delegation which includes Chief of Staff Daniel Schlegel, Director of Communications Maddy Hayden, Senior Advisor for Global Trade & Infrastructure Joseph De La Rosa, former Economic Development Department Secretary Alicia J. Keyes, New Mexico Partnership President Melinda Allen, and President and CEO of the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance Davin Lopez. Ethan Chen, the New Mexico Economic Development Department’s foreign trade representative in Taipei, will assist the delegation.

More information about how members of the media can participate will be available soon.
