Adrian Rogers told the story years ago on his radio program that he and Billy Graham and others spent a day in prayer. Pastor Rogers stated that the thing he remembers from that prayer meeting was that Billy prayed that he be more holy. That has always stuck with me. I want to be more holy! What about you?
What has happened to the SBC for heaven’s sake???? They cannot stay out of trouble. They need to be holy! We all need to be holy!

Willie McLaurin, the interim president and CEO of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee, has stepped down from the position after search committee members discovered he had false credentials on his resume. McLaurin falsely claimed to hold degrees from several universities, including Duke University Divinity School. Read more.

The problem is that the teachings of Adrian Rogers did not stick with much of the SBC, it got so sidetracked in muck. The current total membership of Southern Baptist congregations is 13,223,122, down from 13,680,493 in 2021. The 457,371 members lost is the largest single year numerical drop in more than 100 years.
