When I was at the doctor yesterday he said to me, “I give out plenty of my own opinions based on my experience.” I thought to myself, that I do the same, but from a Biblical perspective. I do my best, I do not aim to be popular in the eyes of man, as man has gotten himself into a mess trying to be popular with the world. I am like most people, wanting to be liked by many, but I have realized that is not going to happen as long as I have a Biblical Worldview. I bring this up because of today’s writing by Adrian Rogers. Many people in America do not like his teachings, because he preaches right from the Word of God. Adrian passed into the arms of Jesus in 2005. Many do not know of his ministry, but it lives on today, like Billy Graham’s, Charles Stanley’s and those way back in time like D.L. Moody, Charles Spurgeon, and so on. I love their messages, as they are rock solid. They were not written to entertain, like so many messages from Christians here in 2023. So many American Christians avoid the Book of Revelation.

PRAY OVER THIS

“And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.”

PONDER THIS

The Antichrist will be an appealing man in the eyes of the world. When we call him a beast, don’t think of him as being hideous in appearance. The beast speaks of his nature. Remember that the devil himself appears as an angel of light. Doubtless, this beast will be handsome; he will be charming; he will be clever; he will be greatly intelligent; he will be a persuasive speaker; and he will be a global charmer. And one of the reasons the entire world will wonder after him is that he will have a deadly wound in his head that will be healed. This will be Satan’s counterfeit resurrection. Of course, it will be a resuscitation, because the devil does not have the power to give life, but this one who appears to be dead will be brought back to life, and at that time the world will greatly admire him.

PRACTICE THIS

Where do you need to deny yourself to reject the attractive schemes of the devil today? Take action in obedience to God.
