Not a favorite topic even with Christians……..

None of us like to think about our own death! But it is near for all of us. I have learned so much about life and death in officiating so many funerals over the last 4 years. Today may be my last day on earth. Do you ever think about your own death? What does your life stand for? Do you stand for JESUS? Do you love your possessions more than JESUS? Is your status with the world more important than your status with JESUS? Is your car or cars more important to you than JESUS? Today, take out a spray can and hit the trigger for just a half a second and watch that mist come out, that is your life! What have you done with your life? Only what you and I have done for JESUS matters, nothing else. I do not think that Pastors preach enough about death, too many avoid it, because it is not a favorite topic, just like hell.
