I have been so very unsettled by this tragedy. I did not know what to say when I first saw this report. My first act was to pray for the deceased Robert Dotson, and his family. Oh Lord help this family. Lord, bring people around them to help them. The extreme hurt this family is suffering will never go away. For the Farmington Police Officers, I am sure it is also the same for them, that the hurt will never go away. All sorts of emotions on both sides over this horrible tragedy. This whole thing made me think what would I do if someone started knocking on our door at night? It is very risky to answer your door at night in here in Albuquerque. It would scare the daylights out of me. I can still hear Mrs. Dotson screaming after the shooting on the video.
My heart aches yet today for all. I cannot imagine how hurt the Dotson family is and the also the Police Officers.
