AP News is reporting today that Poland will soon be providing roughly one dozen Soviet-era MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, which would make it the first NATO member to fulfill Ukraine’s urgent requests for warplanes in order to defend itself against continuing Russian attacks.

Poland’s President Andrzej Duda said that the transfer should happen within a few days, with four MiG-29s ready for transfer immediately and the rest to follow soon, after necessary servicing was completed.

For its part, the United States remains unwilling to offer any aircraft to Ukraine, including F-16s.

Poland has proven to be a superior ally to Ukraine – considering its selfless support for thousands of Ukrainian refugees and now militarily.

Let’s pray that other countries step up and provide the necessary assistance to bring this war to a close, preventing further death and destruction, and resulting in justice against President Vladimir Putin and the aggressor nation of Russia.

Lord have mercy!  Praise Jesus forevermore!
