“I Love” – Tom T. Hall

My brothers and sisters, the beauty of God need not be complicated!  I believe this song reflects deeply on the writer’s soul (mind, will and emotions) and how good it is to see the beauty of His creation, and the fact that loving each other should not have to be complicated.  When we strive in our own strength and complicate things, it becomes far too easy to trust the wisdom of man instead of the wisdom of God.  Being able to perceive and appreciate the beauty of His creation, and thereby acknowledging who God is and all He has done for us, speaks volumes.  It reminds me of how we are all unique in Christ – wonderfully and fearfully made – and that it’s important to see each other as Christ sees us!  Praise Jesus that we can always trust and rest in Him!
