From Adrian Rogers:

“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Ms. Bertha Smith, a Christian missionary, and Dr. Charlie Culpepper, a seminary professor, were both a part of the Great Shantung Revival in China. Both said that, for a time, the missionaries on the field had been in conflict with one another over petty things. But it was not until they began to confess their faults one to another, pray one for another, ask for forgiveness, and reconcile, that a great and mighty revival was set loose. I believe a revival can take place like that today. In businesses, schools, churches, and communities. When people begin to believe in the Bible—the Word of God—and practice it, they are set free.

So, here is your question: Is there anybody that you’re harboring hate toward or carrying a grudge over? Is there bitterness in your heart? In the name of Jesus, deal with it. If you don’t, you have destroyed the bridge over which you yourself must travel.

  • How has forgiveness brought healing in your life?
  • Who are some people in your faith community you need to reconcile with?

Confess your sin, and pray with another brother or sister in Christ.

FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday:

“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9

Too many Americans have put politics above GOD!

As me and my buddy Deacon Skip were talking in the fellowship hall before church last Sunday, we were agreeing as to what Mark Twain once said, “The only difference between a Democrat and Republican is the spelling.” As many Republicans are now caving on aborting God’s babies so they can get elected. They must not think GOD is GOD! GOD ALMIGHTY! They are HIS babies!

America is full of evil. America is divided. Many have resorted to violence like this attack on Mr. Pelosi. politics in America has become so very, very, wicked. Our country blew up on Jan. 6th. I do not know if we will recover, as we are slipping fast into hell. America is full of Satanic cults like Proud boys, QAnon and many others. I do not agree with Nancy Pelosi on her political stances, but there is no reason at all for violence and the attack on her husband! Remember when that crowd on Jan. 6th was calling for the hanging of VP Mike Pence? They were also after Nancy Pelosi. How quickly many Americans forget. America changed that day for the bad. We will never be what we were to be. How can anyone think that God approves of all this evil behavior? Many should be so very ashamed of their actions and what comes out of their mouths. Do these people not realize what they are teaching our children? There are NO politicians that are peacemakers, as far as I can see! If there is, they better start shining their light! From ‘Got Questions’: Only children of God can bring the peace of knowing God to others. A person must have a real relationship with God before he or she can help someone else know God. Those who witness for Christ, share their faith with their friends, and serve others in the name of Christ are the ambassadors for peace this verse identifies (see also Matthew 10:41-42). Those who bring the wonderful message of God’s peace to the world are “peacemakers,” and Jesus calls them the “children of God.” More Here From “Got Questions”

A week ago I officiated the funeral of my dear friend Scott Flury. Scott was a peacemaker, he was a radio guy, a newspaper guy, knew how to communicate with all people, served Chama, New Mexico as a councilman and served on many other community boards. Scott was known as a person who could bring people together, no matter their opinions. After my message about loving others as Jesus loves us and about being a peacemaker, a lovely lady came up to me and said, “You should run for office.” She said we as a country are so very divided, all the politicians do is just hate on each other, they cannot agree on anything.” She speaks truth! Amen! I told the lady that I have been asked to run for political office over the years, but it is not my calling from the LORD. We will keep going into hell if peacemakers to not arise. Our two party system is broken, as they both are destroying our country, both sides fan the flames of evil. I have prayed for a third party to arise in America for years. I would call it, “The Peacemakers Party.” The political violence is going to increase in America. America may survive, but it will look very different.

‘Heartbroken and traumatized’: Nancy Pelosi responds to violent attack on her husband

God Is as Just and Holy as He Is Loving

“There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

—Acts 4:12

Dr. Jim Denison:

Pew Research Center and the General Social Survey agree that the percentage of religiously unaffiliated Americans is higher than ever before. Only 63 percent of Americans consider themselves to be Christians, declining from 90 percent in 1972; 29 percent are religiously unaffiliated, up from 5 percent in 1972.

Does the growing number of people with no faith grieve you? If not, why not?

Pray for God to do what you cannot.

You and I cannot convict a single sinner of a single sin or save a single soul. This is the work of the Holy Spirit (John 16:8). Pray by name for the lost people you know, asking the Lord to draw them to himself.

The problem is not politics, it is that so many Americans, including Pastors, have left God. Just think! Just 37% of Pastors in America have a Biblical Worldview and just 6% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview. We are dying as a country because of this.

Friday’s brutal attack on the husband of Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) shocked Congress and the country, pulling the nation’s gaze away from the looming midterm elections — if only briefly — and placing it squarely on the plague of political violence that’s risen dramatically in recent years.

Paul Pelosi, a wealthy San Francisco investor, is a power broker in his own right. But a source briefed on the confrontation told The Hill the assailant who broke into Pelosi’s San Francisco home was shouting “Where is Nancy? Where is Nancy?” More Here

AXIOS Reports:

As Election Day draws near, mayors and police chiefs across the country are getting a new warning: Extremists have jettisoned their nationwide election intimidation strategy in favor of local efforts focused on neighborhood ballot boxes.

Why it matters: Groups such as the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers are looking to sway the upcoming midterms in favor of their preferred candidates by signing up as poll workers and drop-box watchers.

Driving the news: The U.S. Conference of Mayors held an event this week warning of decentralized election interference efforts targeting local voters, candidates and election workers. More Here

Our democracy is in grave danger.

TEAM JESUS! Please pray for a pure, godly election. Please pray that all people behave themselves.

A recent Axios Poll found that nearly four out of 10 Republicans and one in four Democrats say they’ll blame election fraud if their party doesn’t win control of Congress.

From the equipment in your local polling place, to high-level threat assessments from America’s top cyber-command, a coordinated effort is underway to protect the 2022 elections.

Chris Krebs, former head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), recently tweeted his four main election concerns. They include: continued efforts to de-legitimize the 2020 election, threats against poll workers, radicalized poll workers as insider threats, and foreign actors exploiting domestic narratives. Story Here

I pray that you vote wherever you live in America. It is our duty. ‘GOT QUESTIONS’ PUTS IT THIS WAY: It is our contention that it is the duty and responsibility of every Christian to vote and to vote for leaders who promote Christian principles. God is most certainly in control, but that does not mean we should do nothing to further His will. We are commanded to pray for our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-4). In terms of politics and leadership, there is evidence in Scripture that God has been displeased with our choices of leadership at times (Hosea 8:4). The evidence of sin’s grip on this world is everywhere.

Is America “irredeemably woke”? “80 percent of Democrats and Republicans believe the political opposition opposes a threat that, if not stopped, will destroy America as we know it.”

Thank you FAITHWIRE and Billy Hallowell for this message!!!

Singer Danny Gokey took to Instagram this week to warn Christians about the dangers of drifting away from biblical truth and embracing culture’s counterfeit lies.

“I believe the most dangerous thing that can happen to a believer is very subtle, and sometimes you don’t even catch it,” Gokey said. “What am I talking about? ‘The drift.’”

The singer then proceeded to give an analogy to better illustrate this move away from eternal truth.

Danny Gokey Breaks Down Hebrews 2 and the ‘Most Dangerous Thing’ Christians Now Face

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament are the inerrant, inspired, and infallible Word of God.
God’s Word is the final authority for faith and life.
We believe there is only one God, and He has chosen to reveal Himself
as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
