Christianity in America is fading away, as the Church goes, the country goes. Only 37% of American Pastors have a Biblical Worldview……America is unraveling at a record pace, what will we look like in just 6 months?

Here at FGGAM, we are a small ministry, made mighty by the Lord to show the light of Jesus to one person at a time. We just completed a Great Commission trip to Wyoming, a bit of Montana and South Dakota. Right now in America I beleive it is so important for us all to hit the streets and carry out The Great Commission, it is a command from Jesus, not a suggestion. People need to see the love of Jesus in your eyes, they need to know you sincerely care about them. There is nothing, like one on one contact! I know! We do it! Look, the Church model, WALLS! is failing in America! It is time to get to work! Leave your walls!!!!!!!!! What are you gaining from staying in your building?

I love this from the National Day of Prayer:

One of the things that each of us can do to help create a better today and stronger tomorrow is to be a mentor. Mentorship takes many forms; some meet for meals and talk through life while others may use a more strategic plan or even a study to guide their conversations. Some people are looking for career mentors in areas they are thinking of pursuing or wanting to be promoted while others need an older friend of family-like figure in their life. Paul mentored Timothy throughout his ministry, treating him like a son. Even though they were not related by human blood, they were deeply bound by the blood of Jesus and their commitment is an example worth following.

As Paul reflects in his last letter to Timothy, he affirms and encourages Timothy, once again noting that Timothy has followed Paul’s teachings, conduct, purpose, character, faith, fruitfulness, and many sufferings and ultimately seeing the hand of God work throughout Paul’s life. All of these can only happen through relationship and commitment. Paul knew it was essential to multiply the education, inspiration, and experiences that God had poured into him by training up and traveling with others.

From CHURCHLEADERS:

CHICAGO (RNS) — Like so many pastors around the United States, the Rev. Amanda Olson has kept one eye on the Bible and another on the evolving religious landscape.

She knew change was coming to the church in America.

Yet she hoped her congregation might be spared the worst of it.

“Everyone thinks that churches are going to close,” said Olson, the longtime pastor of Grace Evangelical Covenant Church on Chicago’s North Side. “But nobody thinks it is going to be their church.” More Here

Fox News:

Churches are closing at a record pace in the U.S. as less than 50% of Americans are saying they are members of a church.

“Sometimes you got to ask yourself the question, ‘Are we doing the good Lord’s work by just keeping the doors open?’” said Paul Coston, who was the minister of the Ragsdale Church of Christ in Tennessee before it closed earlier this year, according to WTVR.

Coston’s church is one of many across the country that have closed in recent years, with fewer and fewer Americans opting for membership. More Here
